Check The Messenger and The Daily Freeman-Journal every Monday through Friday for the Daily Number.

If it matched the number on your card, cut it out and tape or glue it to your card.

First person to fi ll their entire card and bring it into The Messenger’s offi ce wins $1,000. See Offi cial Rules for 2nd and 3rd place blackout bingo prizes and additional prizesfor Letter Bingo winners!

Game cards will be inserted in The Messenger and The Daily Free-man Journal newspapers on Friday, August 28th, 2020. One number will be published every Monday through Friday in The Messenger and The Daily Freeman-Journal newspapers until all prizes are awarded.

If you see a BINGO number in the paper that appears on your card, cut the number out of the paper and paste / tape it on the corre-sponding square. Please be sure that the control number (the num-ber beginning with B, usually printed on the center Free Space) is legible. If that number is not legible, your card will be disqualifi ed. Only offi cial The Messenger/The Daily Freeman-Journal/Friendship Haven Bingo cards and offi cial numbers printed by The Messenger / The Daily Freeman-Journal will be accepted. Any reproduction of a Bingo Card or number is invalid.

The fi rst person to completely cover their Bingo Card and present it to The Messenger newspaper offi ce (713 Central Avenue, Fort Dodge, IA) during normal business hours (8:00am - 4:00pm Monday through Friday) and the card is verifi ed to be correct, will be the GRAND PRIZE WINNER of $1,000.00! If more than one person arrives at the same time with a verifi ed correct card, the winner will be selected by a random drawing.

Additional Prizes will be awarded as follows: The second person to completely cover their Bingo Card and the card is verifi ed to be cor-rect, will win $300.00 and the third person to completely cover their Bingo Card and the card is verifi ed to be correct, will win $200.00. First “F”, “H”, “M”, “S”, “T”, and “X” Letter Bingo winners will each receive a Gift Basket and a $40 gift card to a local Business from Friendship Haven.

Eligibility: Must be 18 years of age or older to play. Employees of The Messenger newspaper, The Daily Freeman-Journal newspaper or Friendship Haven, immediate family members and individuals residing in the same household, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate in this promotion. By participating, entrants agree to these offi cial rules.

Promotional Period: BINGO playing cards will be inserted into the Friday, August 28th, 2020 edition of The Messenger and The Daily Freeman-Journal newspapers. The fi rst number will appear in The Messenger and The Daily Freeman-Journal newspapers on Tuesday, September 1st, 2020 and a new number will appear every day - Mon-day through Friday. This game concludes once all prizes are award-ed. No purchase necessary for Bingo Cards while supplies last.

Winners: Winners must provide the winning card and a photo ID to claim prizes. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash or other prizes. If a winner cannot accept prizes as stated in these offi cial rules, the prize will be forfeited in its entirety and an alternate winner will be selected. No substitution, cash redemption, or transfer of prize. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for The Messenger, The Daily Freeman-Journal and Friendship Haven to use the winner’s name and/or photo for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law. All decisions made by The Messenger, The Daily Freeman-Journal and Friendship Haven are fi nal.

General Conditions: Bingo participants agree that The Messenger, The Daily Freeman-Journal, Friendship Haven, their respective par-ents, directors, employees and other representatives are released, will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for injuries, losses or damages of any kind to person (s), including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize or participation in this promotion, winner may be asked for personally identifi able information (i.e. his/her name, address, city, phone number, age, etc.) All information col-lected by The Messenger, The Daily Freeman-Journal and Friendship Haven is securely maintained and is for the purpose of conduction of this promotion or to extend offers and services of The Messenger, The Daily Freeman-Journal and Friendship Haven. The Messenger or The Daily Freeman-Journal currently does not disclose to third parties personally identifi able information that participants provide.
