Review, Modify, ReleaseAfter multiple reviews, the FOIAXpress AI assistant will learn what information you are looking to redact. The AI assistant will then assist in identifying information in future reviews. Eventually, all the user will have to do is review pre-redacted information, modify the document for additional redactions, and release the document with appropriate correspondences to the requester.

Solution: Redaction Templates New templates provide a collection of search-based redaction operations that may be configured using basic- and AI-assisted search criteria. These operations include:

Words and PhrasesLocate one or more words or a quoted phrase of up to 100 characters in a document or collection of documents.

Knowledge BaseLocate document text that matches content that has been redacted in the past with AI-assisted continuous learning. Create and modify Knowledge Base sources as an administrator or authorized user.

Personal PronounsLocate personal pronouns in documents. Default pronouns include “I”, “me”, “we”, “us”, “you”, “she”, “her”, “he”, “him”, “it”, “they” and “them”.

Text PatternsLocate document text that matches the selected text pattern. Default patterns include telephone numbers, social security numbers, employer id numbers, email address, currency and credit card numbers. Create and modify custom patterns as an administrator or authorized user.

Named EntityLocate document text that matches a specific classification with AI-assisted named entity (content) recognition, a form of natural language processing and machine learning. Entity types include Person, Location, Organization, Time, Date, Percent and Money. With the Redaction Template, words or phrases matching the entity type will be flagged for review.
