Celebrating all High School Graduates

If you or your child will be a High School Graduate this year and is participating in this Milestone, we need a picture for the bulletin board!

You can email pictures to [email protected] or drop one at the office.

This weekend, we welcome back Pastor Sue Jones as part of our Sesquicentennial celebration. Sue joined our congregation in 2001 and shortly after that, she was elected to our Congregation Council. Eventually, she was elected to be the chief lay officer of our congregation. By 2006, Sue discerned a call to ordained ministry and graduated from the

Lutheran Theological Seminary in Philadelphia in 2010; she was ordained here at Saint Paul’s in February, 2011.

Her first call was to Lord of Life Lutheran in Tabernacle, where she served as an associate pastor with Pastor David Jones (another “product” of St. Paul’s!). Currently, she serves as lead pastor at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Toms River.

Crossroads Capable Adolescent Mothers Program

Items needed: Baby bottles (new) Supermarket gift cards for formula Disposable diapers Baby shampoo, lotion, wipes Infant toys Onesies, bibs Cribs and mattresses Car seats and high chairs

May 20 was Armed Forces Day, and we are honoring the men and women in service overseas by working with Operation Yellow Ribbon South Jersey whose mission it is to collect US Troop Supplies and Goodies while fund-raising so they can ship care

packages to those in harm's way in the Middle East including Iraq, Afghanistan, and those supporting Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Inherent Resolve.

If you would like to donate, please take an army man and list of supplies from the display in the narthex. We will be collecting through the end of June. Thank you for supporting our troops!

Here at St. Paul’s, we are on a mission to celebrate motherhood. We are interested in forming a Mom’s ministry to build circles of women who love each other like family, because raising humans is beautiful and hard, and having each other to lean on is life-giving.

What is a MOPS group? Here’s the skinny: MOPS groups are gatherings of moms (young & old) who come together for community, conversation and friendship. The goal of MOPS is to meet each mom where she is and walk beside her as she embarks upon the crazy and beautiful journey we call motherhood – so that YOU, mama, get exactly what you need and are surrounded by other moms just like you. This is motherhood, and together we can change the world in all the best ways.

Please join us for coffee, tea and sweets at an informational meeting on

Wednesday, June 14 in the Parish Hall from 11am-12pm

All are welcome—Invite your friends
