Friends Corner

Thanks to everyone who made our January book sale such a success.

By everyone we mean, the people who donated books for the sale, the sorters, who take the books from the front and “sort” the books putting them on the bookcases in the back room.

Then there are the set up volunteers who move the bookcases from the back room to the room where the book sale takes place.

Another group is the volunteers who collected the money for the books chosen and others who helped people find books they wanted.

This brings us to the Sunday clean up group. This group of volunteers packed up left over books and moved the bookcases to the back room.

As you can see it takes many people to have a book sale. Please think about how you can help for our next book sale in April. The January book sale made $6,000. Every penny of this will be given to the library to buy items that are needed.

A special thank you to Bernie Garofola who did all the footwork that is needed to have a successful book sale. And to Karen Cohen for setting up the volunteer schedule.
