Welcome Year 7
On Tuesday 21st February , Moree Secondary College Carol Avenue
Campus welcomed our new Year 7 students, families and community
members with a celebration dinner.
School Photos Friday 10th March—Both Campuses
Uniforms: All SRC, AECG, Sports Leaders, Captains and
Year 12 must have a blue/white uniform shirt and the formal
navy shorts. (You may change later.)
All other students may wear the normal uniform choices.
Students have been given envelopes.
However, you may purchase the photos online before the day.
Each campus has a code: Albert Street RYX 5KA T5T

Siblings Photographs: you may pay for a sibling photo
through just one campus.
Please see Mr O’Connor if you would like an envelope for
ordering sibling photos
Students must let Mr Phillips know, before the day, that
family photos are required .
Friday TAFE students: are requested to turn up early to school
and photos will begin around 8.30am.
The school will supply a blue shirt for TAFE students.

Homework Club has Started
If you would like help with your homework, Carol Avenue is inviting you to attend
Homework Club
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons between 3-20 to 5pm
in the library at Carol Avenue.
Teachers and staff will be present to help students with any homework or assignments they may have.
Afternoon tea is provided.
For permission notes or any further information please contact Kasey Nolan or the Office at Carol Avenue.
Moree Hockey Club
Moree Hockey Club will be holding its Annual General Meeting on
Tuesday 14th March 2017 at 6pm at the Moree Golf Club.
All interested players
Women, Men, past and present – are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Parents of junior players are urged to attend the meeting.

Senior Soccer Club Registrations
Moree Services Club Senior Soccer Club will be holding a registration morning on
Sunday 5th March 2017 commencing at 9:00am
at the canteen area of the RSL Club’s playing field, for athletes interested in joining the club for the 2017 season.
There will be a free BBQ running on the day for 2017 members, with cold drinks available for purchase.
The club welcomes both female and male players to join the club this season. Athletes must be 15 years and older to register and
new players will need to present a birth certificate for sighting at the time of registration. Fees will be advised prior to 5/3/2017 via
the club’s Facebook page, Moree Services Club Senior Soccer.

Stymie Parent Information Session - Invitation Guest Speaker – Rachel Downie
What is Stymie? Stymie is a notification interface that allows bystanders to send anonymous notifications to our school, about someone who they believe is being bullied or harmed. When: Thursday 16th March 2017 (in conjunction with our MSC Parent Teacher Interviews) Available session times: 4 – 4.45 pm & 5 – 5.45 pm Where: Moree Secondary College - Albert Street Library
