We’re the Bradfords and this is our story about our 2011 GT/CS Grabber Blue Convertible Mustang. We started our Mustang journey many years ago. Corky was a Chevrolet guy because his dad sold Chevy’s. But the first car I ever bought myself was a Turquoise 1966 Mustang coupe. Used of course, and standard which I didn’t know how to drive. My mother drove it to see if I’d like it and told me to buy it because I would definitely like it. Later I bought a green (yes Ron Watkins, I had a green Mustang) 1970 fastback Mustang. It was also used but it was an automatic. After that, I switched to Chevy’s too. It wasn’t until 2005 that Corky and I got back into Mustangs. When they brought back the retro look, he thought he had to have one. So, he ordered a red fire metallic coupe. After 4 months of nothing, he gave up on getting it and bought a torch red GT convertible. About 6 weeks later the coupe came in and we bought it for me. The convertible was the garage car and the coupe was my daily driver. We kept the coupe for three years and, by then, I was tired of shifting, so we traded it. Then in 2010, when the new Camaro’s came out, Corky thought he’d die if he didn’t have one. We traded the convertible, which only had 5000 miles on it and got a black Camaro. After about 7 months, we knew we’d made a mistake and traded it for our Grabber Blue 2011 GT/CS Con-vertible Mustang. We’ve made several modifications to it and we both still love it. We have around 11000 miles on it. We agreed to drive this one more than the other car. We were lucky enough to have it on the flight deck of the U.S.S. Lexington and at the Indianapolis Speedway. I guess you can say we’re really enjoying this car. Sandy
