1. Cut templates out a 1/4” away from the line that makes up the pattern. Use the dashes as a guide to not get
to close.2.2. Tape each pattern to a piece of felt with clear pack-aging tape, covering all the
edges.3. Cut the pattern out with the tape holding it to the felt. Stay on the pattern line and when you’re done you’ll have
a clean cut.4. Pinch the line in the middle 4. Pinch the line in the middle of the felt and whip stitch it a
few inches up. 5. You’re done! Now you have two different kinds of lettuces with real characteristics.
