Day 1 – Lakes and mountainsBoard the • Winnipesaukee Scenic Railroad (1) in Meredith.
Get off at • Weirs Beach and enjoy a cruise on the M/S Mount Washington (2).
Arrive in • Wolfeboro, “The Oldest Summer Resort in America,” for a late lunch at the
Wolfeboro Inn (3).
Drive to • North Conway to shop at the Settler’s Green Outlet Village (4) or the Conway Village
boutique shops. Remember, shopping in New Hampshire is tax-free!
Day 2 – travel across the white mountainsTake the • Conway Scenic Railroad’s Notch Train (5) to Crawford Depot and back
(approximately 5 hours round trip).
Take a quick drive west on Route 302 to Base Road to ride the • Mount Washington Cog
Railway (6), the first ever mountain climbing cog to the highest peak in the Northeast
(approximately 3 hours round trip).
Continue west on Route 302 to Route 3 where you will take I-93 South to • North Woodstock (7).
Enjoy shopping in North Woodstock and have dinner at the • Woodstock Inn Station
& Brewery (8).
Day 3 – western white mountainsVisit• Clark’s Trading Post (9) to ride a steam locomotive across an extremely rare 1904
Howe-Truss railroad covered bridge, see black bear shows and more!
Have lunch on the • Hobo Railroad (10) (approximately 80 minutes round trip) and take a tour
of the Flying Yankee.
Drive north to explore Franconia Notch State Park’s • Flume Gorge (11) and to ride the
Cannon Mountain Aerial Tramway (12).
Drive to North Woodstock to enjoy a grand meal aboard • Cafe Lafayette Dinner Train (13)
(approximately 2 hours round trip).
