Back in the early 1920’s a young man by the name of Jack Stern, started a new business

selling lubricating oils, which in those years were delivered in wooden barrels in horse drawn

wagons. At the very beginning Jack dedicated Miles Petroleum to excellence in every phase of

business, quality products, competitive pricing and most important of all, “Customer Service.”

Today, 75 years after our “Founding” Miles Petroleum is a major supplier of lubricating oils, a

Miles Super Red Grease

Super Red EP 2 Grease is a heavy duty multi-purpose grease formulated from high viscosity base oil and lithium complex thickener. This heavy-duty grease offers high load capability with a Timken OK Load of 80 lbs. and contains tackiness additive to enhance retention on lubricant parts. These properties help form an effective seal to help minimize bearing contamination and stay in-place while in service.

Miles Multi-Duty Lithium EP 2

Miles Multi-Duty Lithium EP 2 Grease is a multi-purpose lithium based grease formulated with high viscosity base oils and fortified with a special additive package that insures high _lm strength, extreme pressure and anti-wear properties. It is usable over a wide temperature range while featuring select base oil components that provide resistance to oxidation and hardening at high temperatures.

Miles Moly Litho # 2 Grease

Miles Moly Litho Heavy Duty 2 is premium lithium grease designed for both automotive and industrial applications. It is formulated from fully refined quality lube stocks, high quality lithium soap and additional additives to further enhance its lubrication effectiveness and bearing protection. Moly Litho Heavy Duty 2 has excellent temperature stability and will not melt at automotive service temperatures and is readily handled through normal dispensing equipment.

Miles EP Syn Grease

MILES EP SYN GREASE is an Aluminum Complex, very tacky, adhesive grease made to operate in wet environments. It is made with special water resistant additives which give it water wash off properties that far exceed those of normal greases. This synergistic combination of additives and synthetic base fluids provides exceptional performance even in the most demanding applications.

Miles HT Silica Grease

MILES HT SILICA GREASE is specially formulated for high temperature wheel bearing applications. It is made with silica gel thickeners and specific synthetic base stocks and additives which are capable of providing exceptional service in severe applications. MILES HT SILICA GREASE meets H1 requirements for lubricants with incidental food contact and complies with FDA 21 CFR 178.3570.

Miles EP Bio Grease

Miles EP Bio Grease is a Calcium Sulfonate grease made with synthetic base stocks and a special

proprietary additive system that includes waterproof thickeners and rust inhibitors. It is specifically

designed for fresh and salt water applications, providing excellent thermal and oxidative resistance.

Miles EP Bio Grease also resists water washout and decomposition under wet conditions.

Miles EP FG Grease (Food Grade)

MILES EP FG GREASE is a food-grade Aluminum Complex grease. It is made with synthetic base stocks and a special proprietary additive system that meets H1 requirements (lubricants with incidental food contact). This synergistic combination of additives and base fluids provides exceptional performance in even the most demanding applications. MILES EP FG GREASE also provides excellent thermal and oxidative resistance, resists water washout and, decomposition under wet conditions.

Cutting Oils:

Miles Kleer – Kut Non Corrosive, Sulfur Free, Non Staining Cutting Oil

KLEER-KUT is premium quality multi-purpose sulfur free cutting oil. Additionally, it provides high resistance to

oxidation and corrosion allowing it to function as both lubricating and hydraulic fluid.

Recommended for free-machining both ferrous and nonferrous stocks on high-speed equipment, particularly

automatic screw machines where misting can be a concern.

Miles KLEER-SULF

Heavy Duty Light Colored Sulfur Cutting Oil

KLEER – SULF is premium quality heavy-duty cutting oil. It is an amber colored, sulfurized, cutting oil, compounded from premium quality fatty mineral oil. This cutting oil is formulated for severe machining operations, such as threading and tapping, and broaching. It is also recommended as a semi-base cutting oil which can be blended with mineral oil to address a variety of work situations.

Miles SULF-KUT

Heavy Duty Sulfurized Cutting Oil A dark colored, sulfurized, chlorinated cutting oil, compounded from premium quality fatty mineral oil,

and formulated for severe duty applications.

SULF-KUT is recommended for severe duty machining operations. This includes threading, tapping,

broaching, drilling, milling, turning and working with alloys that are difficult to machine.

Miles SOL-KUT

Water Soluble Oil

SOL-KUT is premium quality biostable soluble oil. The emulsions in this product provide excellent cooling, lubricity, and rust protection for use in a wide range of grinding and machining operations.

MILES KOOL SOL SS A is a semi-synthetic BIOSTABLE general purpose metalworking coolant containing approximately 20% mineral oil. This product, when diluted with water, forms a translucent amber emulsion which offers excellent work piece visibility, good lubricity, and superior cooling. MILES KOOL SOL SS is designed for the machining and grinding of virtually all metals, except magnesium and is formulated without the use of chlorine.

MILES KOOL SOL SS HD Semi Synthetic Heavy Duty Water Soluble Oil

The two major categories of lubricants that meet environmentally friendly requirements are biodegradable

and synthetic.

Biodegradable lubricants are intended for systems demanding high performance hydraulic fluids,
