EVERTON PARK HOTEL

Suburban Everton Park is blessed with one of the most family friendly hotels in South East Queensland, if not Australia. With wonderful, friendly and professional staff, the Everton Park Hotel offers amazing facilities including the million dollar Children’s Play Centre, which comes complete with it’s very own Carousel.....you’ve got to see it!

The Hotel offers a great value bistro/restaurant, a lounge bar, sports bar, 12 motel style rooms and gorgeous function facilities whether it’s a cocktail party in one of our stylish bar areas or a formal dinner, corporate or private party in the marquee, your next function will be simply memorable. The Hotel, although built in 1975, was fully renovated in 2005 into the incredibly popular venue it is today.

The Board Room: Is the perfect place for a corporate & or business meeting for up to 12 guests. This room is also available for hire for your very own private lunch or dinner .

Marquee Bar: This conveniently located area has the best view in the house of the carou-sel and Play centre . This area is perfect for smaller cocktail parties for up to 50 guests.

CC’S Bar: Stylish cocktail lounged area which has been created for casual drinks or so-phisticated cocktails. This area is ideal for entertaining and or private gatherings for up to 100 guests.

The Marquee: Our carpeted & private function room is perfect for wedding receptions, birthdays, christenings, corporate events , meetings and or formal occasions and can ac-commodate up to 180 guests.

The Marquee - $300.00

Includes: Tables & chairs, white linen, coloured overlays, use of whole area for up to six hours & staff. This area can hold up to 180 guests standing and 120 seated.

Marquee Bar - $50.00

Includes: Tables & chairs, white linen, coloured overlays, use of the area for up to six hours & staff. This area can hold up to 80 standing and up to 50 seated.

Please note:

If numbers decrease under the minimum required we reserve the right to change your event area to better suit your needs.

All function areas are a minimum of six hours & if required for a longer period of time will be charged at the rate of $50.00 per hour.

All events with 50 or more guests require by law a security guard for the duration of the event. Surcharge - $160.00 (Additional guards may be required depending upon number of guests & type of event.

To secure your event booking a deposit for the amount of the room surcharge must be made within 7 days of booking. Full payment and all final details regarding your event (number of guests, beverage package, food etc) will be made 14 days prior to your event, in the instance that this does not occur the Everton Park Hotel reserves the right to cancel your event and all monies paid will be forfieted on your behalf.

If ordering the buffet menu a minimum of 30 guests is required in adults, children from 14 - 17 years old will be charged at adult prices, children from 5 - 13 years old will be charged at half price.

GUIDELINES, TERMS & CONDITIONS

Thank you for your interest in holding you next event at the Everton Park Hotel. Please take the time to read the guidelines, terms & conditions carefully in relation to booking a function with us.

Confirmation & Deposit: Your event is considered confirmed upon receipt of a signed function contract, signed terms & conditions accompanied by the payment of the requested deposit as out in your quotation. Tentative bookings will be held for a maximum of a 7 day period, after which time management reserves the right to cancel any unconfirmed bookings & allocate the space to another client. Confirmed menu & bever-age details are required 14 days prior to the event.

Final payment: Payment, in full, of all fixed costs is required no later than 14 days prior to the event date. Cash or credit card is accepted. Any extras or incidentals incurred during the event must be paid for in full on completion to the event. All pre approved account client payments are required in full no later than 7 days after the event.

Guaranteed numbers: Guaranteed number of guests attending the event is required 14 days prior to the event date. Charges will be based on the advised minimum numbers or the final head count, whichever is greater.

Cancellations: In the event that you find it necessary to cancel your event the following cancellation policy will apply: a) If cancellation is made by you more than 12 weeks prior to your booking date the deposit will be refunded less any expenses incurred by the Everton Park Hotel in relation to your event: b) If cancellation is made by you less than 1 week prior to the booking date, the Everton Park Hotel will retain the full deposit: c) If cancelation is made by you within 2 weeks of the booking date any and all payments made will be re-tained by the Everton Park Hotel. Please note that any cancelation charges applicable for third party items hired on your behalf shall be the responsibility of the event client.

Function Room: In the event of unforeseen circumstances or any alterations to numbers, management re-serves the right to change the event to another suitable area & or room. Every effort will be made to inform the organiser in advanced.

Function Times: The client must begin the function & vacate the designated area at the scheduled times agreed upon. In the event that the event should go beyond the agreed time, management reserves the right to impose an additional charge for each hour or part there of.

Final Details: All final details, menus, beverages, entertainment, audio visual, room set ups & start & finish times must be confirmed 14 days prior to the event by the client. Advice should be given at this time if any special needs & or requirements are needed by your guests.

Bookings of other functions or event: Management reserves the right to book other functions in the same function room up to one hour before the scheduled function commencement time & one hour after the scheduled finishing time.

Food & beverage: No food and or beverage may be bought onto the premises for consumption during the event. All food & beverage prices & menu selections are subject to change without notice.

Decorations, displays & signage: To avoid damage no items are to be attached, pinned, glued to the walls of any function area and or room.

Security: It is a requirement by law that any event over 50 guests including 21st will require security for the duration of the event and will be at the clients expense. We do not hold 18th birthday parties at the Everton Park Hotel.

Damage: The client is responsible for any & all damages caused to any part of the function area/room or the Everton Park Hotel as a result of the event. This responsibility extends to damage resulting from the actions of their guests, contractors or any person associated to the event. Parents and or guardians must be in atten-dance for the full duration of all 21st birthday celebrations, thus accepting responsibility for any damage which occurs during this time.

Insurance: Whilst all care will be taken, the Everton Park Hotel will not accept responsibility for the loss or damage of any items belonging to them, their guests or their contractors left on the Hotel premises prior to, during or after the event.

Advertising: Prior permission is required to use the Everton Park Hotel name & or logo in print & or audio-visual display. Management must approve all proposed art work prior to publication.

Noise Restrictions: As the Everton Park Hotel is positioned within a residential area, noise restrictions do apply. Management reserve the right to control the music level in accordance to these restrictions.

Trade Displays: Exhibitors are responsible for the transport, set-up, & dismantle of their own equipment in accordance with health & safety policies.

Responsible service of alcohol: The Everton Park Hotel is a licensed premise & operates in accordance with the principles of responsible service of alcohol. Service of alcohol is at the discretion of the bar attendants, management & security. Under the Liquor Act management & staff reserve the right to refuse service.

Minors: As the function rooms are located within licensed premises, a responsible adult (defined as the mi-nors parent of legal guardian) must accompany minors at all times. At no time are minors aloud to consume alcoholic drinks.

Hours of operation: The Everton Park Hotel function rooms are licensed until midnight Monday to Sunday. Drinks service will cease 30 minutes prior and all patrons are to vacate the premises by midnight.
