Food4others is a division of 4others, a nonprofit organiza-tion based in San

Jose, CA, committed to being a driving and creative force in the fight against poverty, preventable disease, & injustice. We conduct reproducible campaigns designed to inspire and equip people to live their lives for God and for others. Partnering with nonprofit organizations, we raise public awareness and funding to meet needs both locally and globally.

Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) is a Christian hunger relief non-profit based in

Minnesota. For the 11th consecutive year, FMSC has received Charity Navigator’s highest rating of four stars. Going on their 29th year, they strive to provide a team-building environment where people of all ages can come together for a common cause: packing nutritious, life-saving meals for starving children. These meals are then shipped to over 70 countries around the world, truly offering hope to the hungry.

In order to provide 270,000 meals, we are in the process of raising $60,000.00. 100% of all donations will be used to provide meals for starving children through the Food 4others MobilePack. If you would like to make an online donation to help us reach our goal, please visit us at food4others.org.

Volunteer to Pack!

Every day, nearly 6,200 children die from hunger or hunger-related causes. Malnutri-tion is devastating to a child. It causes brain damage, tooth decay, stunted growth, bone loss, confusion, weakness, vision and digestion troubles, and eventually death. However, the meals you will pack at the Food 4others MobilePack are scientifically designed to reverse and prevent malnutri-tion, so a child not only survives but thrives!

These “MannaPack” meals are simple to make by only boiling water, and culturally acceptable worldwide. They consist of:

Rice, the most widely accepted grain around the world and also easily digestible

Extruded soy nuggets, providing maximum protein at lowest cost

Dehydrated vegetables

Vegetarian-based chicken flavoring containing 20 vitamins and minerals to give growing children the critical nutritional elements they need to thrive

And the best part? Each meal costs only 22 cents to produce!

During your two-hour shift at the Food

4others MobilePack, you will pack an

average of 216 meals ($48 worth of food) - feeding a child for about 7 months!

The Food 4others MobilePack 2016 is a 3-day event involving 1,300 volunteers in hand-packing 270,000 meals for severely malnourished children around the world. These meals are shipped to partners in over 70 countries and distributed by orphanages, clinics, schools, missions, and community feeding programs.

In assembly-line fashion, volunteers pour, weigh, seal, and pack as many meals as they can during their 2-hour packing shift. It’s a fun, fast-paced atmosphere while the packing process is simple enough for children as young as five to volunteer with an adult. Specific tasks are also available for individuals who require seating.

The Food 4others MobilePack is a great service opportunity for families, friends, co-workers, churches, and schools who are looking for a fun way to foster unity and teamwork while making a real difference in the lives of hungry children!
