Futuro Classico Evaluation Guidelines and Checklist – Jan 2016 0 Futuro Classico Evaluation Guidelines The Futuro Classico is an evaluation of Ferraris that are less than five years old on the date of the evaluation. The purpose of this program is to: Encourage owners to keep their Ferraris in the original state with all the options and accessories that came with the car. Document the as-delivered condition of the owner’s cars for future reference. Provide the owner with an FCA-Certified photo record of the as-delivered condition for future confirmation of authenticity. The Futuro Classico is intended to encourage owners to bring their absolutely original, and complete, newer cars (less than five year old) to FCA Annual Meets. Such cars will be evaluated for total originality and completeness. If successful, the car will receive a certificate and a photo book recording the as-inspected condition of the car. Entrants must register for the Futuro Classico when they register for the Annual Meet. In general, no more than 10 cars will be evaluated in Futuro Classico each year. The entrant, or designated representative, must drive the car onto the field and present the car. The entrant must provide two copies of the original invoice (which can be obtained from the selling Ferrari dealer) for examination by the evaluators; or, if the original invoice is not available, provide two copies of the build sheet (available from any Ferrari dealer) which must be stamped and signed by the providing dealer. The original invoice or build sheet is mandatory and will enable the evaluators to correctly determine all of the options that originally came with the car. (Please note that the window sticker is NOT an acceptable alternative, as it does not list all of the options.) The complete car will be examined including tool kit, books, manuals, luggage, car covers, battery charger, removable window, flashlight, and all other items sent by the factory (see complete list of possible items on the Checklist attached). All of these items will be photographed and, together with the documentation, will constitute the record of the evaluation and reference database. All components of the car will be evaluated to ensure originality / completeness and must score 100% in order to pass (similar to the Coppa Bella Macchina pass/fail scoring). The evaluators will not consider special safety equipment to enhance the driving experience, like a six-point seat belts or fire extinguishers if neatly and unobtrusively installed. Cars are expected to be reasonably clean but a little road dust or paint chips will not be disqualifying. Items such as non-original exhausts, radio modifications, wheels/tires, lights, (but not limited to these items) will be disqualifying. Ferraris found to achieve this level of originality and completeness as authenticated by the evaluators will be given a Futuro Classico certificate and photo record book for the owner’s future use.

Futuro Classico Evaluation Guidelines

The Futuro Classico is an evaluation of Ferraris that are less than five years old on the date of the

evaluation. The purpose of this program is to:

Encourage owners to keep their Ferraris in the original state with all the options and accessories

that came with the car.

Document the as-delivered condition of the owner’s cars for future reference.

Provide the owner with an FCA-Certified photo record of the as-delivered condition for future

confirmation of authenticity.

The Futuro Classico is intended to encourage owners to bring their absolutely original, and complete, newer

cars (less than five year old) to FCA Annual Meets. Such cars will be evaluated for total originality and

completeness. If successful, the car will receive a certificate and a photo book recording the as-inspected

condition of the car. Entrants must register for the Futuro Classico when they register for the Annual Meet.

In general, no more than 10 cars will be evaluated in Futuro Classico each year.

The entrant, or designated representative, must drive the car onto the field and present the car. The

entrant must provide two copies of the original invoice (which can be obtained from the selling Ferrari

dealer) for examination by the evaluators; or, if the original invoice is not available, provide two copies of

the build sheet (available from any Ferrari dealer) which must be stamped and signed by the providing

dealer. The original invoice or build sheet is mandatory and will enable the evaluators to correctly

determine all of the options that originally came with the car. (Please note that the window sticker is NOT

an acceptable alternative, as it does not list all of the options.)

The complete car will be examined including tool kit, books, manuals, luggage, car covers, battery charger,

removable window, flashlight, and all other items sent by the factory (see complete list of possible items on

the Checklist attached). All of these items will be photographed and, together with the documentation,

will constitute the record of the evaluation and reference database.

All components of the car will be evaluated to ensure originality / completeness and must score 100% in

order to pass (similar to the Coppa Bella Macchina pass/fail scoring). The evaluators will not consider

special safety equipment to enhance the driving experience, like a six-point seat belts or fire extinguishers if

neatly and unobtrusively installed. Cars are expected to be reasonably clean but a little road dust or paint

chips will not be disqualifying. Items such as non-original exhausts, radio modifications, wheels/tires, lights,

(but not limited to these items) will be disqualifying.

Ferraris found to achieve this level of originality and completeness as authenticated by the evaluators will

be given a Futuro Classico certificate and photo record book for the owner’s future use.
