SynopsisThe female protagonist, is in her house making breakfast as she wakes up to what she thinks will be a casual day in the house. Little does she know, that today was going to be very unordinary… The male antagonist is slowly preparing for his busy day, kidnapping the female protagonist. He’s planned out every move, and what he needs to do to make sure that everything goes to plan! Later on in the film, you find out what the link between the 2 characters are, through a series of flashbacks and events that have happened in the past. This all leads up to what is happening in the present and the motive for why he’s kidnapping the female. Three years before the kidnapping, the male was going to marry the female however, just before the wedding the female left him at the alter, he never forgave her and has found out she has remarried and started a new life. He has gone a bit psycho and wants to make her suffer like she did to him!

Mise en scene

• During the day, artificial + natural lighting. High key lighting and low key lighting.

• Location- in the females house. And the males warehouse, which is where he will take her.

• Props- knifes, rope/ tape, bags, cereal and milk, bed.• Costumes- dark clothing for the kidnapper and pajamas for the female.• Sound- non diegetic and diegetic, high pitched, creepy and loud

transporter, hitman) and M6 Film.

• However we cannot base our production on this film as the budget, actors and companies are way out of our league. Although we can base our ideas on this film and our production on Paranormal Activity as their budget was $15000 and their production company was Blumhouse productions. This means there will be very little stunts and effects nor famous actors. However their target audience was 22 to 40 year old women. This gives us a choice of who we want our films target audience to be.
