To approve order accepting and filing the Interim Arbitrage Rebate Analysisprepared by Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP regarding $34,050,000 DallasCounty, Texas Unlimited Tax Road Bonds, Series 1995, as well as a letter datedJuly 6, 2000 to County Treasurer Bill Melton stating that said bond issue hasreached its five year anniversary and required installment date on May 25, 2000.

To approve order authorizing the County Judge to sign an agreement with FullCircle Services, Inc. to pursue certain unclaimed funds for recovery by DallasCounty and to pay authorized fees upon recovery of said funds.

To approve order approving the proposed projects and administrative budgets thatwould be funded with $2,214,712 in FY 2000 and FY99 CDBG funds, $579,000in FY 2000 HOME funds, and $252,527 in carryover CDBG funds, to be effectiveOctober 1, 2000, and authorizing the County Judge to sign any relateddocuments.

To approve order authorizing the County Judge to execute a renewal of Contractwith Judges trying criminal cases in Dallas County, extending the County'semployee benefit and salary policies to the Community Supervision andCorrections Department, effective September 1, 2000 through August 31, 2001 .

To approve order approving refunds to taxpayers, as listed, in amounts over$500.00 for erroneous or excessive tax payments.

29. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving an amendment to the City of Dallas AdministrativeAction No. 00-1792 (AIDS Investigation Program) for FY 2000, to add funds inthe categories of personnel and fringe benefits in the amount of $2,099.85, and$600.00 in the category of mileage, and authorizing the County Judge to sign thecontract on behalf of Dallas County.

30. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving a contract amendment to extend the FY 1997HOPWA contract with The Visiting Nurse Association of Texas through August31, 2000, due to unexpended funds in the home delivered meals servicecategory, and authorizing the County Judge to sign the contract amendment onbehalf of Dallas County.


31. COURT ORDER:

To approve order approving the FY 2000-2001 Ryan White Title I contractamendment with Dallas County Health Division to increase their outpatientmedical service unit cost from $187.90 to $201.52, and authorizing the CountyJudge to sign the contract amendment on behalf of Dallas County.

To approve order extending current contract (Bid No. 97-265 - Annual Contractfor Laundry and Linen Services) with Excel Linen Co., based on a not to exceeddate of September 28, 2000, to allow ample time to evaluate and award a newcontract.

To approve order authorizing the addition of approximately 7,600 sq.ft. of spacelocated at 1512 E. Langdon Rd. (Kovar Sheriff Patrol and Mitchem Gun Range)to Bid No. 99-235-158 (Annual Contract for Janitorial Services for Area C), andauthorizing CTJ Maintenance, Inc. (awarded contractor) to perform said servicesat a monthly cost of $950.00 ($0.125/sq.ft.), effective immediately.

To approve order authorizing the City of Glenn Heights to utilize the County'sAnnual Contract for Asphalt, Bid No. 2000-101-395, for the period from April 20,2000 through April 19, 2001, and authorizing the County Judge to execute theCity/County Agreement with the City of Glenn Heights for usage of said contract.

To approve order authorizing the cancellation of Category II (Purchase andInstallation of VCT and Installation of Carpet/Related Accessories/Services) of BidNo. 2000-105-399 (Annual Contract for Floor Covering Services), due to the lackof adequate responses received, and authorizing the Purchasing Department tore-solicit proposals for this service at a later date.
