Wyman dedicated a significant amount of time and energy throughout his life to improving our community, with a focus on the Barrie Arboretum. Over many years, he volunteered with numerous organizations and received many awards acknowledging his work.

• complete the Sunnidale Park Arboretum Naming survey found online in ‘Public Feedback’ at barrie.ca/MyBarrie or in person at Legislative & Court Services, 70 Collier Street, Barrie
• email feedback to [email protected]
• phone Legislative & Court Services at (705) 739-4204
The deadline for comments is Friday, January 27, 2017. A staff report will be presented to General Committee in the winter of 2017 with the results of the public consultation and recommendation(s) for consideration.
For more information on dedication of Municipal Assets, please refer to the Municipal Naming Policy available via barrie.ca/parks.
Weekly Christmas Tree Curbside CollectionBarrie residents are reminded that Christmas trees are collected weekly during January on your regular curbside collection day. Please ensure that trees are free of plastic wrap and decorations and are visible at the end of the driveway. Trees must not exceed 1.8 meters in length. If it snows, or snow removal equipment buries the tree after it’s been placed out for collection, be sure to remove the snow so the tree
is visible to the collector. Remember to place items curbside by 7 a.m. to help ensure collection. Check out tips for weatherproofing your materials at barrie.ca/CurbsideCollection or call (705) 739-4219.
Collection Schedule LookupNot sure when your curbside collection occurs? Look up your address at barrie.ca/CollectionSchedule. Download the City’s mobile app via barrie.ca/pingstreet to set up reminders right to your mobile device!
