Praise God for:

1. Enabling Pastor Koshy to preach and Elder Ng Poh Kok to lead in the English Service last Sunday. Musicians: Choong Kai Shuin and Ellyzabeth.

2. Enabling Pr Zhu Xinkai to preach and Bro Francis Tan to lead in the Chinese Service last Sunday. Musician: Mehetabel Lim.

3. Enabling Pr Daniel Lim to preach in the Filipino Fellowship. 4. Enabling Pr Jeremiah Sim, Pr Daniel Lim and Pr Kelvin Lim to minister to Changi

Prison inmates this afternoon. Pray for souls to be won for the Lord.

Praise God for:

5. The safe return of Pastor Koshy, Sis Carolyn and Bro Cornelius from Bukidnon, Philippines last Thursday night. Thank God for a fruitful ministry and a blessed time of fellowship with our missionaries.

6. The blessed time of learning God’s Word during the Chinese retreat. Thank God for enabling Pr Zhu Xinkai (main messages) and Pr Daniel Lim (devotion) to preach God’s Word. Praise the Lord for good health and safety of all the participants.

4. GBI-Online Ministry – Pray for the GBI classes on Ezra and Nehemiah by Pastor

in spreading the Gospel; for opportunities to share the Good News; and for good responses.

9. Calvary Kuching Church – Pray for this outreach of Calvary Jaya BPC. Pray for our preaching ministries in Kuching, especially for Pr Samson who spends more time ministering to the brethren there.

14. Filipino Fellowship – Pray for Pr Ho Kee How in his preparations to preach God’s Word next Sunday. Pray for the continued growth of the Filipino Fellowship and that all the present Filipino brethren will be effective in evangelism and in ministering one to another.

15. Ladies' Fellowship – Praise the Lord for enabling GLF committee to plan monthly GLF meetings for all ladies in Gethsemane, and for enabling Pastor to expound the Word in every meeting. Pray for all ladies in our church to grow spiritually through the hearing of God’s Word and bear a good testimony in words and conduct for Jesus wherever we are and to fulfil our roles wisely, humbly and joyfully for God’s glory.

16. Men’s Fellowship – meets 2nd Sat of the month (4pm). Pray for wisdom upon Pastor as he preaches on Biblical men of faith.

17. Adults Fellowship – meets 4th Saturday of the month (4pm) in the home of members. Pray for God’s wisdom/grace upon Pastor Koshy as he teaches from 1 Thessalonians.

28. Sis Esther Ratnam – Thank God for seeing Esther Ratnam who suffered an ischemic stroke recently. She has been discharged on 13 November 2019 from St. Andrews Community Hospital (SACH). Please continue to pray for her physical and spiritual health; for stable health condition and no recurrence of stroke.

29. Mdm Ang (Sis Stephanie Lee’s mother) – Continue to pray for her as she is still undergoing chemotherapy.

30. Sis May Ping. Pray for her as she is diagnosed with early stage of cancer. Pray for smooth radiotherapy sessions and thank God that there is no discomfort.

31. Sis Neethu Joish. Thank God for a successful surgery. She is now at home and in the process of recovery.

32. Bro David Ng. Thank God for a successful surgery and that he is back in TGCM and recovering well. Pray for quick and full recovery.

33. Gethsemane Media Centre. Pray that all payments will be completed in due time and without any deficit.

34. DVBS starting tomorrow, 11-13 December 2019. Pray for Pastor Koshy, Pr Kelvin Lim and Bro Cornelius who will be preaching to the children under the theme “Rooted and Built up in Christ”. Pray for Pr Kelvin Lim and the GCM committee in the planning and preparation and for a good weather. Thank God for 50 children who have signed up. Pray for the salvation of the young souls.

35. YAF-YF Combined Retreat, 19-21 December 2019. Pray for Pastor Koshy (main messages), Bro Cornelius Koshy (morning devotions) and Sis Carolyn Koshy (children’s class) in their preparation (theme: “Understanding the Scriptures and Knowing God’s Will”). Thank God for a good sign up of participants.

36. Building Project for GBPC-Cebu. Pray for God’s provision on His people in cheerful/generous giving to this project.

37. New place for Care Ministry brothers. Pray for God’s provision of a new place to house our brothers from Care Ministry.

Pray for: 2. God’s enabling in the preparation of Sunday messages and adults’ Sunday school.

We are studying the shorter catechism. Pray for those attending the Lord’s Day Service that they will be encouraged through the hearing of God’s Word.

3. The rulers to allow the free course of the Gospel. 4. God’s help and guidance to file annual returns of the church, obtain income tax

exemptions and FCRA license from the government to receive foreign support. 5. Gethsemane Media: (i) God's wisdom & help to use the company to spread the

Gospel via different media (ii) Translation and printing of Bible Study Materials (iii) To fulfil the mandatory compliances required by Government like accounts filing, GST filing etc.

INDIA Pr Sujith Samuel Pray for: 6. Gethsemane Book room & Library: (i) For God's wisdom to set up the Bookshop

and Library with good resources. (ii) Pray that Christians will make use of the facility to be edified. (iii) To get a person to manage the Accounts and the Bookshop. (iv) To procure more books for the benefit of GBI students and other Christians.

7. GBI India: Praise God for (i) provision of current office and accommodation for GBI students (ii) good health, safety and God’s help in the preparation of lectures and bible studies. Gethsemane Children’s Ministry daily. 4. His mercy upon the brethren constructing the room for the generator (they will fill

the concrete slab today). Pray for:

1. God's protection on Church leaders to preserve them from the devil's attack. 2. The salvation of those who received the Gospel message through the weekly

evangelism. 3. God’s mercy to be upon our nation so that our people may live peacefully and that

ETHIOPIA - Gethsemane B-P Church of Ethiopia Rev Ephrem (Alemgena, GBI) Pray for: 3. The church and children choirs for wisdom as they prepare to serve the Lord. 4. God’s wisdom as Pastor Ephrem attends to the daily administration of the GBI,

prepares handouts and teaches in GBI classes. 5. Gods enabling grace for the children’s Sunday school teachers (Primary-Bro Bedada

and KG-Sis Kamise) and for the spiritual growth of the children. 6. The spiritual maturity of believers that they may be committed to witness for Christ. 7. Gods spiritual protection over and guidance of fulltime, evening class, distance

program GBI students. Pray that God may bless the teaching-learning process. Pray also that they serve their churches faithfully.

Thank God the first step of our appeal has garnered a positive response and our case is forwarded to higher authorities.

safety and success of this work. 14. God's guidance to be upon Church leaders to select appropriate candidates for GBI.

Pray that God may lead only those who have a calling to come to our Bible Institute.

15. Rev Ephrem and Dn Imane as they prepare to teach GBI classes. 16. Gethsemane Children’s Ministry as we serve the poor children and focus on the

evangelistic efforts. Pray that God may help the teachers: Bro Bedada, Sisters Gete, Kamise and Alemitu. This year, over 70 children are enrolled.

17. The spiritual life of pastor’s children, Daniel and Ruhamah, that they may love the Lord and walk faithfully in His ways.

our aim as a church is to read the Bible through in one year. 3. Wisdom to address the needs of the brethren according to God’s Word and guide

them to serve the Lord faithfully. 4. The commitment of our regular worshippers towards holy living. May the Lord

raise up faithful men to co-labour with me. 5. The Lord’s granting of more open doors to preach the Gospel and more fruits in

our current Bible Study groups. 6. The salvation of our family members. 7. Wisdom as we prepare for our study about “Determining God’s Will”. 8. Availability of teachers for the Junior Worship. 9. Good weather for us to conduct Home visitations and Bible studies.

Jesus, we will serve one another and grow together. 13. God’s leading on how to setup the GBI-Online in Pangasinan. May the Lord bring

students as we plan to open next semester (in January 2020) and God willing we will offer Systematic Theology 1 (Theism) and Theology of Prayer.
