The last regular game of the season proved to be one of the most exciting for the GIANTS! This was our second match up with the Steelers, and they were looking for a win. They jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead, and they looked really good! However, the GIANTS came back right before halftime and scored, and we really seemed to hit our stride in the second half of the game.

Pizza Party!! Wednesday, June 7, at the field directly after practice. Way to go GIANTS!

When time was called, Garrett, Elyah, Alex, Lane, Maxine, Jacob, Will, Kyle, Brenden and Dion had managed to tie the score at 20, and we went into overtime. Elyah ran down the field for a touchdown, but there was a penalty and it was called back. Now the pressure was really on. But, in true GIANTS fashion, we ran the same play again, and this time Elyah got the ball in the end zone for the 6 points that we needed!! Once again, the GIANTS came together and won as a team. Congrats to the Steelers too, on a great game and a great season. Now it’s time to prepare to meet the Falcons in the playoffs!!

Parents: The GIANTS will be meeting the FALCONS in our first playoff game. We will be playing at CHANEY field at 9am Saturday. Please arrive at the field NLT 8:15am, for warm ups and drills. This has been a fantastic season for the GAINTS, and we look forward to having a full crowd on the sidelines to cheer on our team! GO GIANTS!!!!
