BMDH Project Special Regional Dialysis Centre celebration | BMDH Update No 202
Our child care centre kids are brightening things up at Mount
Druitt by creating colourful boxes which will feature on the
shadecloth around the dialysis centre construction site. The
boxes feature items the kids think will make hospital happier,
like rainbows, the beach, animals and stars. Thanks to Mount
Druitt child care centre staff and parents, Marily and Malcolm
from our arts team, and our gorgeous kids. Pictured: staffers
Christine and Sarla, with Shubhi (front page), Noormeet,
Joshua, Jermiah, Josh, Gian and Lithesh.

LAND CARE: Coolamon Cottage child care kids Georgine, Max and
Kishen (pictured below with Melissa and Alisha from the centre) were on
hand this week to help Andy, Will and Carl from Landforms to plant some
native trees around the child care centre to beautify the landscape and
attract local birds. Thanks to Adam Donnelley from Stage 2 partner
Donnelley Constructions for donating the trees and organising the guys to
plant them (with our help, of course!)

PAPER GIANTS: Are you a paper person or have you gone
digital? This week our B2Hub team were exploring paper
independence - how we use paper and how we choose to
use it in the future.
Paper independence is not about being paper-free. It’s
about reducing our reliance on paper with a “use less, keep
less” approach. It’s a part of our readiness for the move to
the B2Hub next year, but the tips for managing paper are
useful for anyone in any office setting.
For a fresh start in 2017, go through the paper on your desk
before you leave for the holiday break. Categorise what
you need to keep. Recycle or shred what you don’t need or
no longer use.
WE THREE KINGS
SANTA BABY INDEPENDENCE DAY
BEARING GIFTS: Best Nativity Ever. The Virgin Mary, baby Jesus, two sheep and the Three Kings
made from dialysis consumables and now being adored in our Regional Dialysis Centre Bubbles
Gallery. The figures were created by patients, carers and staff as part of our award-winning arts
program, which helps make the experience of dialysis less confronting.
ZAT YOU SANTY CLAUS?: Cancer carer Barry puts the
finishing touches to the singing Santa in our Cancer Centre.
