Can you imagine facing your three daughters, ages 16, 13, and 10, to tell them their mother did not have much longer to live? Liz Moore and her husband Andy faced their worst moments back in early January of 2008. Since 1992, Liz had battled Lyme disease and by 2007, she had run out of traditional treatment options.

As her condition progressed, her vitality depleted rapidly. Towards the end of 2007, she was bed-ridden for over nine months. “I was losing more and more vitality with each passing day. I felt my life slipping away. It got to the point that just looking at my girls caused me grief; I couldn’t stop thinking about all the milestones in their lives that I would miss.”
