All agents and adjusters must complete 24 hours of approved CE by the end of their birth month, every 2 years. Individuals who have been licensed in Florida for6yearsormore,asofthefirstdayoftheircomplianceperiod,qualifyforareduction from 24 hours to 20 hours.

Agents and/or adjusters are required to complete a 5-hour “Ethics & Law Update”course,asapprovedbyDFS specific toa license that theyhold.Alicensee who holds multiple insurance licenses, must complete an update course thatisspecifictoatleastoneofthelicensesheld.Exceptasotherwisespecifiedby DFS, remaining required CE hours are elective, and may consist of any course approved by the Department under the FL Sec. 626.2815.

I found this to be a convenient and professional school with a strong reputation among Lauderdale’s Real Estate agents and brokers, and saw many there for their General Contractors and Appraisers pre-licensing coursework. My teacher was wonderful: over 25 years of experience in South Florida and a knowledgeable and engaging style that kept things lively and relevant. Classrooms are large, modern, and comfortable, with wi-fi of course. There’s a spacious break room with vending machines, a sink, and a microwave. Classes are offered in the mornings, evenings and on weekends with full or part-time course offerings at four campuses in Broward/Dade and one in PB. This location is also walking distance to Dunkin Donuts- perfect for grabbing a coffee during a break. Let me know if you are registering and would like to take advantage of their refer a friend program- a discount card good for a few $s off.

I’ve been coming to Gold Coast School of Real Estate since 1985 when I obtained my real estate license. I again took their course in 1999 for my mortgage broker license. I have continued to attend this school for my real estate continuing education and when licensing changed for the mortgage broker license. The instructors here are top notch, very knowledgeable in their field, won’t bore you and prep you well for the exam that I’ve always passed any I’ve taken. The classes are spacious and clean, the staff is also very friendly and professional. I wouldn’t take a course that they offer, anywhere else. They also have several locations and numerous courses that it made it very easy to fit my schedule.
