Steam cooking is a healthy way of

preparing food, which preserves nutrients

and vitamins. With this cooking mode,

very little water is added. As a result,

the food will not be overcooked, and it

will retain its natural colour, juices, and

IQboil: Cooking with a large amount of water

This cooking mode is suitable for dishes

that require a large amount of water

such as soups and pasta. Preset cooking

mode will bring the contents of the pot

to the boil and then maintain the boiling

temperature through communication with

the IQ sensors. Choose between light,

moderate, and heavy boil.

How does it work?

IQ sensors are built into each cooking

zone of the hob to allow the use of the

outstanding IQcook function on all four

zones simultaneously! If you accidentally

place a wrong lid on the pan during

cooking, IQ sensor technology will

perceive this mistake and notify you with

an acoustic signal. Cooking process will

proceed without interruption.

Patented SmartSense safety function

prevents the food from boiling over or

burning: if fluid evaporates from the pan,

it will automatically switch off the cooking

hob.

Top-class IQcook induction hob can also

be used in the conventional way, just like

any other high-end induction hob.

Global innovation - step baking Gorenje HomeChef oven is a revolutionary

novelty in home appliances. Unique

control mode and efficient operation

guarantee remarkable cooking results.

The key novel feature in the offer of the

ovens is the original** preset STEPbake cooking in several steps. The preparation

process for many dishes requires

a change of temperature during

the progress, or use of different types

of heaters, or both. With the HomeChef

oven, you can design such preset

programs yourself. Choose the PRObake

operating mode for a perfect gourmet

In addition, there are three more

operating modes:

AUTObake with as many as 65 preset

recipes with photos, including some that

already include cooking in several steps;

control via a large interactive colour TFT

display. The technology in the background

is in fact a high-performance micro-

controller that acts as a standalone

computer. Combined with the hardware

and a smartly devised operating system, a

result of in-house expert knowledge and

development, provides more responsive,

faster, and user-friendly control. The

concept of control, although based on

complex technology, is user-friendly as it

vastly simpli∫es every selection. Programs

and functions are selected by sliding your

∫nger across the display. Contents are

clearly laid out and intelligible. The display

is protected with glass. The main menu

displays date and time and allows settings

in virtually any language of your choice. 30

language versions are available. Main menu

is also the gateway to the basic menu that

offers four different types of selection of

SIMPLEbake The shortest way to your favourite dish When the SIMPLEbake mode is displayed,

nine photos of the most commonly prepared

dishes will appear on the interactive colour

display. When the desired dish is selected,

the preset program will already have known

which heaters to use, which guide level the

baking tray should be placed in, and how

long to cook. The program automatically

makes all the necessary adjustments with

regard to the approximate amount (weight)

of the food, which you enter, level of

browning and doneness, and the time you

wish your food to be ready. HomeChef will

guide you logically through the scrolling,

browsing, and confirming of your settings.

PRObake Conventional cooking for seasoned chefs The PRObake mode allows the chef all

the freedom of creation while improving

reliability and accuracy of all procedures.

If you know from experience the

temperature and duration of cooking for

a particular dish, as well as which heaters

and any additional functions are best

suited, then PRObake is the right cooking

mode for you.

STEPbake, the original

and patent-protected solution of

multi-step cooking available within the

PRObake mode, allows setting up to

three consecutive changes in temperature

and heater combination in respective

time intervals. When the recipe for

your desired dish recommends such

changes during the cooking process,

all required settings can be very simply

made immediately, before the start of

preparation. Cooking in such way takes

place automatically, without the need for

constant control, and provides excellent

culinary results each time.

AUTObake Wide choice of preset programs AUTObake mode offers preset optimum

settings for 65 dishes classified into

logical categories. Select the food

category, e.g. meat, vegetables,

or pastry, and the desired dish within

the category. The program inquires about

of doneness, and the time of completion

of cooking. Then, you are ready to launch

the cooking process by pressing Start.

The program will adjust the settings

accordingly and make sure the food

is ready and delicious at the time you

One of the key competitive advantages of Gorenje fridge freezers is a system which

Interior concept

The choice of colours, shapes and materials

Gorenje Pininfarina oven comes with

a meat probe – a special sensor for

checking the level of doneness – and

the corresponding cooking program.

This feature is intended particularly for

meat, although it can also be used for

some other dishes. Slide the probe into

the chunk of meat and set the desired

temperature. The oven will automatically

cook until the temperature in the core

reaches the set value. When it does, an

indicator on the oven control panel will

signal this, letting you know that the meat

is done. With the meat probe, your roast

Humidity reduction in the freezer

consuming defrosting is completely

eliminated. No accumulated ice enables

optimal utilisation of the storage space.

In fridge compartment the perfect level

of humidity is maintained, due to this

modern technology.

SuperCool function for cooling larger amounts of food

When the SuperCool fast cooling

function is activated, the refrigerator will

provide a boost to the cooling process,

dropping the temperature to 3°C which

is nearly half of the usual temperature.

Low temperature, combined with large

capacity, is ideal for rapid cooling of

food after major shopping trips. After

six hours, the function is switched

off automatically and the refrigerator

compartment temperature returns to the

initial setting.

Eco – economy program

During periods of less frequent use (door

opening) or absence from home, such

as vacation, Eco program can provide

optimum temperature while saving power.

MultiFlow technology

MultiFlow accelerated air circulation

technology provides a constant

Futuristic kitchen

The unique Futuristic kitchen in the shape of a rounded cube was also created in

cooperation with Ora-Ïto. A monolithic structure made of a high-tech composite

material was designed as a fully mobile setting to display the Gorenje Ora-Ïto

Collection as it clocks up the miles through many European capitals. Throughout its

journey it has covered over 14,000 kilometres.

TECHNOLOGYMICROWAVE

Grill heater – a quick way to crisply browned crust

The grill heater can be used to quickly

brown the crust of some dished, making

it desirably crisp. In combination with

the microwaves, grill can be used for

especially fast roasting. Halfway through

the cooking process, the oven will warn

you that the food should be turned to

allow even browning.

Excellent convenience of convection – even without the microwaves

Convection involves cooking with hot air;

this means that using this heating mode,

the oven is heated in the same way as a

conventional electric oven. Sensors enable

heating the food to desired temperature

(100 to 230 °C) while the fan behind the

heater pushes the hot air into the oven

cavity. Needless to say, all advantages of

convection are most pronounced when it

is used in combination with microwaves

and the grill heater: such combination

will speed up the preparation of even the

most intricate dishes.

SmartDisplay

A display that spans over the entire

height of the microwave oven provides

more than stylish appearance and clarity;

it is also highly efficient in monitoring

the cooking progress in the oven based

on the selected function. Furthermore,

a countdown timer will inform you at

any time how much longer the selected

procedure will take.

Inox interior

Interior of some of our microwave ovens

is made of stainless steel which leads to

excellent cooking results. Stainless steel

improves circulation of microwaves in the

oven compared to other ovens.

AUTO MENU / Preset programs and user program memory for easier selection

Many models have (automatic) menus,

i.e. a number of preset dishes. You select

the type of food and enter its weight,

and thew oven will automatically adjust

the power and cooking time accordingly.

For all who use a particular procedure

often to prepare a favourite dish, the

user program memory function will come

especially handy. It enables saving the

process of preparing a dish and later

recalling it by pressing a single button.

BUILT-IN COFFEE MACHINE

Warming drawer

The functionality of the machine is further

upgraded by a warming drawer, available

separately. The drawer is installed right

under the coffee machine, the entire

composition fitting perfectly into the

furniture element designed for built-in

ovens. The drawer is used for warming

dishware, but also food. With it you will

be able to serve fresh coffee in suitably

warmed cups.

A palette of coffee flavours

Incredible advantage offered by Gorenje

coffee machine. Just choose whole bean

coffee and leave it to the machine to

prepare the beverage. The combination

of automatically set amount of scooped

coffee and the possibility of manually

adjusting the fineness of grinding enables

the machine to serve three types of

coffee, characterised by different textures

and aromas: mild, medium or strong. By
