Important Dates• Boat Cruise – Wed. October 14th
• Winter Semi-Formal – Thurs. December 10th
• Car Rally - Thurs. April 21st
• Grad Dinner/Dance/Dry Grad – Fri. June 10th
• Valedictory – Wed. June 22nd
Boat Cruise• Ticket price: $80
• Meet at 4:30pm – NO LATER
• Students will be transported by bus to and from
• Boat leaves Vancouver at 6:00
• Arrives back at 9:30
• Back to school at 10:15
• Girls:
stairs + ramps + docks + stilettos = sad times + broken shoes
Winter Formal• Ticket Price: approximately $45
• Dinner and DJ included
• No smoking on school property and no ins and outs
• Best Meal of The Year (thanks to Chef)
Car Rally• Ticket price: $10 per pair
• Costumes and car decorations
are encouraged

June Grad Events• Four major events:
o Grad Walk
o Grad Dinner and Dance
o Dry Grad
o Valedictory
• Tickets for the Grad dinner/dance and dry grad will be
sold together in the Spring.
Ticket Price: Approximately $200 combined.
Grad Walk• Takes place at the school
• Parents and guests are welcome to attend
• DATES ARE NOT REQUIRED!!!!
• Helpful tips from Mrs. Van Vliet and Ms. Koot
o Girls: practice walking in your heels!
o It gets hot
o It’s a VERY long day. Prepare accordingly.
Grad Dinner/Dance
• Following the grad walk all students will be transported to the hotel by bus. No exceptions.
• Starts at 6:00 at the Fairmont Waterfront Hotel
• Class photo at 6:15
• Dinner is served at 7:30
• Parents welcome to attend after 8:30o Maximum TWO guests per student only. Outside of these two
guests, no additional siblings, cousins, third cousins or pets allowed.
Dry Grad• Parent-run event taking place after grad.
• New this year: the whole event will take place at
the Fairmont Waterfront!
Valedictory• This is the ‘cap and gown’ ceremony
• South Delta Baptist Church
• Previously, students have received 4 guest tickets
per student.
