Step 3: Develop Your “20 x 20 PechaKucha ” Presentation

What is a PechaKucha presentation? A PechaKucha presentation is simple: It is a PowerPoint presentation with 20 slides each discussed for 20 seconds each (a total of 6 minutes 40 seconds). PechaKucha presentations are short, concise, and to the point!

Before You Start Your Presentation:

Please visit the following website http://www.slideshare.net/jessedee/you-suck-at-powerpoint and watch “You Suck @ PowerPoint” so that you WON’T Suck @ PowerPoint!

How to Create Your Presentation:

1. Use your research information to create your structure for your 20 slides

2. Create your 20 slides using as MUCH media (pictures, audio, video, etc..) and as LITTLE text as possible

3. Divide your slides in half with your partner. You should each present 10 of your slides.

4. Create your OWN NOTES to go along with each slide. These should be YOUR WORDS to describe each slide and tell us about your country.

5. With you partner PRACTICE and TIME your presentation. Remember your presentation should be 6 minutes and 40 Seconds!

20 Slides 20 Seconds Each Total Time – 6:40
