A message from the PrincipalProfessor Michael Earley

It has been six years since I agreed to become President of Rose BrufordCollege of Theatre and Performance. I took on this role because I believethat drama schools like Rose Bruford College provide the best trainingopportunities to produce first class actors, designers and technicians forthe theatre, film and broadcasting industries. The standards of trainingthat performers experience at Rose Bruford will sustain them throughouttheir careers. And their final year productions, varied in their many

challenges, introduce them to rigours of an artistic environment that theywill experience at first-hand in the professional world. The College justlytakes prides in the acting talent it produces.

I hope you will view their work positively and give these youngprofessionals your consideration.

Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance has nearly 65 years of preparing students for careers in theatre and broadcasting.Providing the training to sustain a demanding career in theatre lies atthe heart of the Rose Bruford experience.

This year again we were among highest achieving conservatoires forstudent satisfaction. Last year we also had one of the highest uptakes in

representation by agents.

When we take on a limited number of performance students through acarefully considered auditioning process of selection - we look not onlyfor talent but for that spark of confidence and air of professionalism.All of our performance work across three years is geared towardsindependence in thinking and a commitment to creativity.

Our students are under no illusion that work in the industry is bothtough and hard to find. But they all have enormous potential to makethat difficult journey.

We hope you enjoy our performances and will come to see andsupport the work of the students we train.
