You can restore aminimized application bydouble-clicking its icon atthe bottom of thecomputer screen.

Restore the Write windownow to its previous sizeby double-clicking theWrite icon.

In addition to maximizingand minimizing a window,you can also move it toanother part of thescreen.

You can move a windowby placing the pointer onthe window’s title bar anddragging the window toits new location.

You can change the sizeof any window. You do soby changing its width andheight.

You can size a window bymoving the pointer slowlyover the border of thewindow until the pointerchanges to a double-arrow pointer, and then

Size the window now tothe outline on yourcomputer screen.

Now return the window toits previous size.

The Write window is backto its original size.

Most windows have amenu bar across the topof the window. The menubar contains the names ofmenus.

When you open a menu,it displays a list ofcommands that you useto work with yourapplication.

You can open a menu byclicking the menu name.

When you open a menu,you see a list ofcommands. You canchoose a command byclicking the commandname. If you want toclose a menu withoutchoosing a command, youcan click the window’stitle bar.
