WARRANTY

This product comes with a warranty covering all defects in material or

workmanship for a period of one year from date of original retail purchase. At

its option PVP Communications, Inc. will repair or replace any defective part(s)

or equipment. The provisions of the warranty shall not apply to any unit which

has been subjected to misuse, neglect, incorrect electrical or mechanical

installation, unauthorized modifications, accident, nor to units which have been

repaired or altered outside of PVP Communications, Inc.. The warranty is extended only to the original owner of the PVP Communications, Inc. product

and may not be transferred or assigned. In the event that the product does not

conform to the warranty, the product should be shipped prepaid to PVP

Communications, Inc.. Transportation charges, insurance fees, and labor costs

for shipment, removal, or reinstallation of product are not covered by this

warranty. Loss or damage in shipment is the sole responsibility of the freight

carrier. Repair as provided under this warranty is the exclusive remedy of the

consumer. PVP Communications, Inc. shall not be liable for any incidental or

consequential damages or for breach of any express or implied warranty on this

product. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied

warranty of merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration to the duration of the warranty. Some states do not allow

the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or allow

limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or

exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights

which vary from state to state. PVP Communications, Inc. reserves the right to

make changes in design and to make improvements in its products without the

obligation to incorporate the changes or improvements in any of its previously

manufactured products. PVP Communications, Inc. has not authorized anyone

to make representations or warranties other than the warranty contained

herein. The above warranty is effective for all products manufactured after

01/01/95.

4) Tuck wire leads into gap between

the helmet and the foam core.

5) Install velcro and place left ear-

phone as shown.

8) Using the wooden stick, continue

to tuck the long earphone lead around

the rear rim of the helmet & into

opposing ear pocket.

9) Secure earphone with velcro.

10) Re-install cheek pads & ear

cushions.

11) Mount windscreen on mic.

7) Mate the microphone leads.

Interior Mount Installation

6) Clamp boom mic to interior.

(typical Arai Helmet install shown)

NOTE: Set clamps so as to dress mic

against the shell of the helmet. This

will keep the mic from pushing into

the cheekpads.

NOTE: Adjust boom length to place

the voice port at the user’s mouth.

NOTE: Rotate boom in the clamp to

orient voice port so that it does not

aim upward or downward, but is

directly aimed to the user’s mouth.

FINISHED INSTALL

-Voice port oriented to point directly

at the user’s mouth.

-Boom length adjusted to place the

mic at the user’s mouth.

-Clamps oriented to not push against

the cheekpads.

Interior Mount Installation

1) Remove both left and right cheek

pads and ear cushions.

2) At the left side of the helmet, lay

the helmet harness pigtail as shown

with the pigtail plug dressed to the

exterior of the helmet. Cinch loosely

to helmet chin strap buckle as shown

with the two tie wraps.

NOTE: When headset is used with

Speakermics worn at the center of

the uniform, install harness to exit

at the right side of the helmet.

3) Adjust to desired pigtail exit

length at the outside of the helmet

and tightly cinch the tie wraps. Cut

off excess tie.

NOTE: When headset is used with

a mating Speakermic, set pigtail

cable exit length as shown below to

allow coils to dress at a right angle

without tension when worn.

EXAMPLE—Right side cable exit

with properly dressed pigtail coils.

Dress left side pigtails shorter for

speakermics worn at the left shoulder

best to avoid high volume levels when using headphones, especially for

extended periods.

• Use caution when using your headset/headphones while operating a

vehicle or engaging in any activity that requires

your full attention. Check and follow local laws regarding mobile phone and

headset/headphones use. Some jurisdictions

impose specific limitations, such as single earpiece configuration, on the use

of such products while driving or riding.

Exterior Mount Installation

1) Remove both left and right cheek

pads and ear cushions.

2) Remove microphone mounting

plate with Phillips screwdriver.

3) At the left side of the helmet, lay

the helmet harness pigtail as shown

with the pigtail plug dressed to the

exterior of the helmet. Cinch loosely

to helmet chin strap buckle as shown

with the two tie wraps.

NOTE: When headset is used with

Speakermics worn at the center of

the uniform, install harness to exit

at the right side of the helmet.

4) Adjust to desired pigtail exit

length at the outside of the helmet

IMPORTANT:

Clean the exterior surface between

mounting holes in the helmet with the

alcohol pad provided, then

14) Re-install cheekpads & ear

washer using Philips screwdriver.

9) Pivot mic clip into large hole.

NOTE: Align smaller hole carefully

since tape will immediately adhere.
