IMPORTANT NOTE: Where required, the installer must install an appropriate backflow prevention device before a shower hose according to the cross-connection hazard rating. (E.g. in situations where a shower hose is installed over a bath, the shower outlet is installed at a low height, or a shower hose is long enough to reach the floor, bidet or a WC pan.)

The shower may not be suitable for use with gravity-fed water heaters, low pressure supply networks, instantaneous water heaters, tempering valves and thermostatic mixing valves. (AS3662-2013). For use with potable water only.

Reference should also be made to the Australasian Health facility Guidelines (AHFG), ABCB and Local Government regulations when considering the choice of, and the installation of these products.

The following clauses must be observed for a compliant installation and correct operation of Enware tapware:

^ All heated water installations for sanitary fixtures used primarily for personal hygiene purposes shall deliver heated water at a temperature not exceeding:

a) 45°C for healthcare and aged care buildings, early childhood centres, primary and secondary schools and nursing homes, or similar facilities for the aged, the sick, children, or people with disabilities; and

b) 50°C for all other situations (Laundries and kitchen sinks are not required to have heated water at a maximum of 50°C) This product must be installed and commissioned by a qualified plumber. For use with potable water only.

Turn off water supply

1. Please ensure a male 1/2” BSP tail (not supplied) is installed and protrudes at a minimum of 10mm outside the finished wall. See IMAGE 1. Apply thread tape onto the tail.

2. Install the wall hook to the 1/2” BSP tail. Make sure the hook sits flat against the wall, and the outlet point of the wall hook is facing downward. See IMAGE 2

3. Connect hose to wall outlet. Place rubber washer in end of hose and hand tighten into wall connection.

4. Place flow controller into the base of the hand piece. See IMAGE 3. Check direction of the flow controller. See IMAGE 4. Place rubber washer on flow controller and hand tighten hose to the base of the hand piece.

5. Place the hand piece onto the hook. Turn on water supply and check for operation, flow and water leaks around all connections.

Rail Installation for SP273 Series

1. Place the wall bar vertically against the wall at the desired position. Mark the position of the top flange on the wall by tracing the outline of the flanges.

TIP: Use a level for vertical alignment.

2. Remove the top base by removing the grub screw on the flange via an allen key. See IMAGE 5.

3. Centre the base in the top outline marked on the wall and mark the positions of the holes in the base flange on the wall. See IMAGE 6.

4. Drill holes to suit hole patterns on the base. Secure the base with suitable countersink screws (not supplied) See IMAGE 7.

Make sure the top of the screw sits flush with the top of the base.

TIP: Place rail back on top base and mark bottom base outline. Use level for vertical alignment.

5. Remove the bottom base flange. Repeat Steps 3 and 4 for bottom base.

6. Install the wall bar onto the bases via the flanges and reinsert grub screws See IMAGE 8.

1. Carefully slide the top covering flange away from the base.

2. Place the rail in position against the wall. TIP: Use a level for vertical alignment.

3. Mark the top base hole position onto the wall. See IMAGE 9 NOTE Mark single hole only.

4. Remove the rail. Drill hole in the wall in the position marked.

5. Attached the rail using a single top screw loose enough to be able to rotate rail. See IMAGE 10

6. Carefully remove the bottom covering flange for access to the bottom base.

7. Using a level, plumb the rail vertically and mark the bottom base hole positions.

8. Remove rail from the wall completely and drill holes for top and bottom bases of rail.

9. Screw rail to wall using 6 fixing screw as supplied. NOTE: if supplied screws are unsuitable for wall materials use appropriate fixing screws.

10. Carefully reattach covering flanges. See IMAGE 11.

1. Turn off Water Supply

2. Install the wall elbow onto the 1/2” BSP connection using suitable plumbers tape. Make sure the outlet point is sitting squarely in the downward position. See IMAGE 14

SHOWERHEAD FOR SP273 AND SGR023 SERIES

1. Place flow controller into the base of the hand held shower. See IMAGE 15 Check direction of the flow controller. Place rubber washer on flow controller and hand tighten hose to base of hand held piece.

2. Place the hand piece onto the hook. Turn on water supply and check for operation, flow and water leaks around all connections.

3. Place the handpiece onto the shower head holder. Turn on water supply and check for operation, flow and water leaks around all connections

Connect wall elbow onto 1/2” BSP Tail

SLIDER INSTALLATION FOR CHROME (C & CS) MODELS

Disassemble the back casing of the holder and remove the plastic bush. Place it onto the rail. Place the front & back casing of the holder onto the rail. Use the screw supplied to lock the back casing in place. SEE IMAGE 12

SLIDER INSTALLATION FOR WHITE MODELS

Remove the side covers from the holder, disassemble the screws and remove the side body. Place the holder onto the rail. Reassemble the side body, screws and the side covers. SEE IMAGE 13

Enware Product should be cleaned with a soft damp cloth using only mild liquid detergent or soap and water. Do not use cleaning agents containing a corrosive acid, scouring agent or solvent chemicals. Do not use cream cleaners, as they are abrasive. Epoxy coated surfaces should only be cleaned with a cloth and clear water or mild detergent. Use of unsuitable cleaning agents may damage the surface. Any damage caused in this way will not be covered by warranty.

Enware Australia Pty Limited (ACN 003 988 314) (“we” or “us”) warrants that this product (also referred to as “our goods”) will be free from all defects in materials and workmanship for 24 months* from the date of purchase. Our liability under this warranty is limited at our option to the repair or replacement of the defective product or part, the cost of repair of the defective product or part or the supply of an equivalent product or part, in each case if we are satisfied the loss or damage was due to a defect in the materials or workmanship of the product or part. All products must be installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions, the PCA, and AS/NZS3500 including any other applicable regulatory requirements.
