BLAST FROM THE PAST Shown in his 1961 yearbook, Jimmie’s dream was to

drive a transcontinental truck and see his country.

After graduation, Jimmie went into the Air Force

and owned his own gas station, before going into

trucking in 1970.

Jimmie retired once, but decided he didn’t fit the

mold of a retiree and has been back on the road

ever since. This year, Jimmie will celebrate 8 years as an OTR driver with Heyl. Thank you, Jimmie, for

your years of service and congratulations on an extremely successful career while living out your

dream!
