Therefore, Patti Clifford has been appointed to the newly created role of Chief Talent Officer for the Havas Group, effective immediately. Patti joined Arnold (a Havas Group agency) in 2012, and in 2013 took on the role of Chief Talent Officer for Havas Creative Group. She has been the key strategist of Havas’ collaborative talent initiatives between the creative and media divisions, leading the launch of programmes including Havas Lofts, a network mobility program, NextGen, a high-potential leadership development program, and a global employee engagement survey initiative that has enabled Havas employees to share feedback and management to take action accordingly. In her new position, Patti is responsible for all aspects of human resources functions, as well as partnering with the executive team to oversee talent management, drive organizational strategy, and fuel cultural change. She will report directly to Havas Chairman & CEO, Yannick Bolloré, and will be a member of the Havas Executive Committee. Patti will also maintain her role as Chief Talent Officer for Havas Creative Group, where she will report to Andrew Benett as she continues to work on strategic talent issues across the Creative Group. Yannick Bolloré said: "Talent is our most important asset. We are doing everything possible to implement a talent management strategy which will create positive work environments where our employees can express themselves, evolve, and trace an enriching career path." Patti Clifford commented: "I'm thrilled with the opportunity to more broadly evolve the Talent strategy at Havas. We have made very good progress, but there is still much we want to do in creating interesting development opportunities for our employees while also ensuring our Havas villages are a go-to destination for superb talent. I'm looking forward to partnering with the executive committee and working with leadership around the globe on continuing to make great progress." Havas has also announced today the nomination of Céline Merle-Beral as Chief HR Officer for Havas Media Group. In her new role, Céline will coordinate HR initiatives such as mobility and benefits & compensation in all the countries in which Havas Media Group is present. Havas Media Group France has named Delphine Castanet as Head of HR in France, replacing Céline Merle- Beral.
