High School Programs of Choice
The purpose of our high school Programs of Choice is to inspire students with rigorous, personalized learning experiences and opportunities to reach their potential through programs that tap into students’ passionate interests. The High School Programs of Choice include:
RACE at Chestatee High School; EPiCC at East Hall High School; JISA at Johnson High School; ATLAS and STEM at North Hall High School; and i2 at West Hall High School.
Students may apply to 1 or 2 high school programs of choice and use a common application.
ATLAS is for ninth and tenth grade students ready for academic rigor, leadership opportunities and experiences that shape you. It offers a well-rounded curriculum of advanced educational opportunities in all content areas. Students will be offered a program of study that ensures a challenging curriculum to prepare them for both college and career. Learning experiences are integrated to build inquiring, compassionate, and life-long learners. While courses are designed to prepare students to transition into the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, participants are well prepared to complete Advanced Placement coursework, Dual Enrollment and/or Honors courses their junior and senior years. Candidates are selected based on demonstrated achievement, motivation to excel, collaboration and leadership abilities, and service within the community.
Pre-requisites: 9th Lit, Coordinate Algebra or Acc. Alg/Geom, Physical Science (preferred), Spanish 1 (preferred)
The North Hall High School STEM Academy provides an engaging, student centered, integrated, and rigorous STEM curriculum to a diverse student population through innovative instructional methods.
STEM Academy students will have advanced educational opportunities in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics; use hands-on and interactive technology; and complete an internship in their chosen field of study.
Students will work with faculty, industry, and college advisors to design their own independent and group-based investigations, conduct research projects and present their findings publicly.
Students from any Hall County middle school may apply to this 4-year program. As upperclassmen, students can continue their STEM experience through the IB path, or the AP/Honors path.

LCCA Please join LCCA on Tuesday, November 3rd, for a campus tour and an
informational session hosted by our program coordinators. All high school students will have the opportunity to take elective courses in a career pathway and we want you to be informed about their options at LCCA.
The Charter Academy serves all seven high schools in Hall County,
providing students with a passion for careers in the hospitality, culinary arts, cosmetology, building construction and design/advertising industries.
The Oaks provides students the opportunity to learn in a real work environment, helping to manage and run one of six businesses; the Corner Cafe coffee shop, Get Gifted gift shop, Bistro at the Oaks fine dining restaurant, Meeting & Events conference center, Design 360 personalized promotions lab, & Reflections Salon and Spa.
