SPAIN AND ITS TERRITORIAL ORGANIZATION

• Spain is divided into Autonomous Communities.

• There are 50 provinces in Spain and two autonomous cities ( Ceuta and Melilla)

• Provinces are divided into smaller territories called MUNICIPALITIES ( Alosno, Cartaya….) governed by the CITY or TOWN HALL.

• is an economical and political association of 28 European countries.

• Spain joined the EU in 1986.

• Euro area was created, the euro was established as the single official currency of the EU.
