Start

We are starting with this image here. It’s best that you use an image that is landscape-ish.

Step 1

Step one is simple and has no image editing yet. Duplicate the image 5 times. Afterwards hide all the duplicates leaving only “Duplicate copy.”

Step 2

On the background layer hit CTRL+M for the curve tool. Set the output to 43 and input to 106, leave it on RGB. Hit OK. Change the blending to Overlay with the opacity and 60%.

Step 3Unhide the second

duplicate and select it, go to Image > Adjustments > Selective Color. The input these settings: Reds: -100, Yellows: -100, Greens: 40, Cyans:-70, Blues: -100, and Magnetas: 97. Change the blending to Soft Light and the opacity and 70%.

Step 4

Again, unhide the third duplicate layer and select it. Go to Image > Adjustments > Hue/Saturation. Set the Hue to 1, Saturation to 5, and Lightness to 45. Then set the blending to color.

Unhide duplicate 4. Hit CTRL+L to bring up the adjustment levels. Input 135, 0.95, 255. Change the blending to Soft Light at 50%.

Now select the last duplicate layer and unhide it. Go to Filter > Blur > Smart Blur. Then put the Radius at 10, threshold at 20. Change the blending to screen at 60%.

Done!

And now you image is done! It should now have a nice color that stands out even more then it previously did.
