11/06/2008 – Onlangs lanceerde de maatwerkwinkel DEL’UOMO met winkels inRoeselare en Brussel het concept van de ‘reizende kleermaker’. Hiermee komt hettegemoet aan de verzuchting van drukbezette mensen die geen of weinig tijdhebben om tijdens de openingsuren van een winkel te gaan shoppen.

Sterke vraag naar persoonlijke serviceDeze Travelling Tailor Service biedt hemden en kostuums op maat, hetzelfdeaanbod als in de DEL’UOMO-shops maar dan op verplaatsing. De klant kiest voorz’n hemd en kostuum zelf de gewenste stof, snit en stijl. Daarna worden de matengenomen en that’s it! Ongeveer een 4-tal weken later worden pak en hemdlangsgebracht. Het voordeel is dat dit alles gebeurt wanneer het de klant past enwaar het hem past, niet alleen kledij maar ook service op maat dus.

Sterk concept‘In Parijs, New York of Londen is een reizende kleermaker de normaalste zaak vande wereld,’ zeggen Fries en Tobias, zaakvoerders van DEL’UOMO, ‘maar wehadden nooit gedacht toen we deze service lanceerden, dat het zo snel zo’n succeszou worden’. ‘Het is een sterk concept en het levert ons heel wat klanten op buitende regio’s waar onze shops gevestigd zijn. We verkopen bijna meer pakken buitende openingsuren van onze shops dan tijdens,’ lacht Tobias.

De mensen hebben het almaar drukker en willenhun tijdsbesteding zo efficiënt mogelijk indelen.
