How to make Cross X Wood wick candles Required: Candle Jar Wax Fragrance Wood wicks x 2 (darker colour) X Cross wick sustainer/tab Instructions: 1. Prepare Wood wick Included in your pack of Wood wicks is a Dark and Light wick, the Light coloured wick is a ‘booster’ wick, which is likely not required for making a Cross wick, unless you need a bigger flame. a. Cut the (darker) wick to the required length for the height of the jar you are using b. Cut wick in half lengthways, but only to the mid point; do this on 2 wicks. For best results, cut a long narrow 0.5mm wide ‘V’ to allow the 2 wicks to slot into each other and minimise twisting. c. Slide the 2 wicks together as shown in picture below. Note: you will use 2 of the Darker coloured wicks, we have used the lighter colour for demonstration purposes only
