At first lets know what is called a T-shirt?
A T-shirt (T shirt or tee) is a style of shirt. A T-shirt's defining characteristic is the T shape made with the body and sleeves. It is normally associated with short sleeves, a round neck line, and no collar. However, it may also include long sleeves, buttons, collars, or v-necks.
There is 3 way to start a t-shirt business:
Process-1. Buying t-shirt from garments stock and print them and sell them.Process-2. Making t-shirt by your own and print them and sell them.Process-3. Buy total readymade t-shirts what ever will be printed and you will sale them.
Short Description of Process-1:
Buying t-shirt from garments stock and print them and sell them.
This is a way from where you can buy solid color t-shirt from your nearest people or garments and print them all. Its just need Print, Iron then Packing.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Process-1
Advantages
Disadvantages
• Easy to get / Available• Low Price• Lowest time period needs to make .
• Wrong Size Tags• Extra sewing costs• Low quality fabric.• Design will be cracked• Fabric will be faded• You have to buy a lot of products
Suggestion and Conclusion: I personally never told any one to go for this type of things. Its so much costly some times. And its not friendly for newbies.

So now how to go for it?
Analyze about your criteria, minimum 1-3 months.
Then just make a plan how you will do it?Fix a target. It means targeting people.
Unique and Attractive Design. Please keep that on your mind, most of the people buys a t-shirt for its design. So try to make it different. You have to be choosy, classy, stylish, smart and updated about the design. And be “SICK”, it means:
S = Stylish
I = Innovativ

K = Knowledg

Then
Arrange a Dyeing Factory
Arrange a Knit Garments Factory
Arrange a Printing Factory
Arrange a Yarn Making Factory
Yarn Making or Collecting Fabric
Arrange a Yarn Making Factory. Otherwise you can collect intact fabrics from 2 no. Rail gate, Chashara, Narayanganj. Intact fabric will be available in already dyeing conditon. But sometime cost is quite similar. I personally prefer 180 gsm fabric, but 160 gsm is also better for summer season. For winter season 200+ gsm will be better. But If you want to dye by your own then I think that will be better if you tell your garments to arrange yarn fabric for you. The will be able to provide it to you in low cost. And they will take the risk if accidentally any damage happens inside the fabric. Please provide them full specification of your recommendations. They will go for it.
Now Dyeing
Dyeing is an important work and also not so much easy. Please provide their authorized person full specification with details of your recommendations. After this you have to send your product to your knit garments factory for cutting.Sizes: Provide size ratios to your knit garments factory. This is an important work. Please provide their authorized person full specification with details of your recommendations sizes with quantities. Cutting pcs of T-shirt is depending on over its sizes.
T-shirt is ready to be printed
Send your t-shirt for print
There is Three (3) types of printing available, They are:
• Screen Printing• Hit transfer• Sublimation
Perhaps the most common type of t-shirt printing is screen printing; small businesses and individuals often use this method to produce shirts in small or custom batches. The cost of doing screen printing is relatively low, and very little special equipment is necessary for at-home jobs. Heat transfer and sublimation are two other methods. Sublimation is the most difficult, and it should generally only be done on synthetic materials such as acrylic. Heat transfer is an easy process that is quicker than screen printing, though the final product may not last as long.
Screen printing is done with inks and mesh screens specially treated with a chemical that allows an image to be burned into it. A screen is coated with a substrate, which will harden when exposed to light. An image printed on a transparency can be placed on the screen, then the screen is exposed to light, causing the exposed substrate to harden while the substrate hidden by the transparency will remain soft. That soft substrate can then be washed away, producing an image on the screen. The screen is then placed on top of a t-shirt, and ink is pressed through the opening in the hardened substrate using a squeegee. The equipment investment is minimal, and screens can be washed and re-coated with substrate to burn a different image.
Screen Printing
Heat transfers are usually done on white t-shirts to avoid problems of conflicting colors, though the transfers can be put onto any color the printer desires. It is one of the quickest methods of printing, as a pre-made transfer design is simply heated and applied to the t-shirt. Heat transfers can be done at home using just a household iron and ironing board, though special equipment is available for large batches of shirts. While this is certainly a quick and easy option, it is hardly the longest lasting; transfers tend to crack after time, often leading to fading or other degradation of the image.
Heat Transfer
Sublimation is the quickest and long lasting of the t-shirt printing processes, though it is a limited process that can also be costly. It is generally only performed on synthetic materials such as nylon, and the investment of equipment will be more significant. The ink is heated in such a way that it turns to gas and is then transferred to the fabric. This process requires special inks, heating elements, and substrates that can significantly drive up the cost of a garment.
Sublimation
Ready to shipping
Now start selling!
After printing send them to the knit garments factory for sewing, making, ironing & packing.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Process-1
Advantages
• 100% cotton fabric knitted by 100% cotton yarn (depends)• Export quality fabric with 100% color guarantee & long lasting color ever after wash• High enzyme wash and excellent silicon finishing (depends)• Unique Designs (Depends)• Very much comfortable for the Summer• Lycra Rib in neck which matches 100% with body fabric color• Fabric Gross per Square Metre (GSM) : 160-180
Disadvantages
• Lengthy Process • Lack of Proper related knowledge• Lack of communication with Dyeing Factory• Lack of communication with Kniting Garments Factory• Lack of communication with Printing Factory• Raise of non sold products quantity.• You have to buy a lot of productsSuggestion and Conclusion: I personally suggest
