East Penn designs and manufactures over 170,000 energy storage devices a day that serve many industries:

Transportation-

• Automobiles, Marine power, Trucks, Buses, Equipment,Power Sports, Lawn & Garden, RV’s, Golf carts, Agriculture, Floor Care, Mobility

Reserve & Motive Power-

• Telecommunications, Uninterruptible power, Renewable energy, Lift trucks, Airline support, Locomotives, Grid optimization, Auto guided vehicles

• East Penn batteries back up China’s entire Subway System

Injection MoldingPlant• Mainly battery covers and caps

• 90% of materials are recycled batteries

• 60,000 Lbs. of polypropylene used daily, heated to 400°

• 300 employees working 24/7

• Goal= 100,000 daily

Lead Oxide-2 plants

• Produced to support all manufacturing plants with lead acid

• Material is used to paste the plates together inside a battery

• One plant will make 84,000 Lbs. per month

• One lead block weighs between 18-2500 Lbs.

• 40 Total reactors• Lead & Acid arrive

WIRE & CABLE FACILITY• East Penn owns and operates a wire, cable and battery accessory plant, as well as a

1,000,000 square ft. distribution center complex• Stocked with an extensive inventory of quality products.• East Penn also operates over 200 trucks• 3 shifts employee 400+ people

SMELTER, RECYCLING & WATER TREATMENT• East Penn will reprocess more than 30,000 batteries daily, and recycle virtually 98%

of each spent battery.• A model for not only the lead recycling industry, but for plastics recycling,

wastewater treatment, and acid reclamation. Their environmental commitment is one taken very seriously.• 90-110 tons of batteries every 4 Hrs.

• 6 million gallons of acid reclaimed annually
