DEAR FRIENDS AND PARTNERS,A warm hello from all of the iCare Thailand volunteers. We hope this finds you and your family well. HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY

- iCare Thailand volunteers taught English at Bahn Mahamaek orphange on 3 different occassions.

- In a joint project with the Royal Thai Army, iCare Thailand plus 10 additional volunteers helped to clean up and repaint flood damaged houses in Thawee Wattana area. This project was completed over 2 days.

- Our English with Meaning project continues to be popular with the students at Kasetsart University. With 40-60 students attending each week.

- Air Asia sponsored plane tickets and free cargo so we could deliver aid packages to 250 families who had been affected by the flash flooding in Nakhon Si Thammarat Province in the South. While there we also visited a school that had been similarly affected and delivered one set of bilingual (Thai and English) multimedia educational material.

- Along with the students from our English with Meaning Project we organized an activity for the boys at Poomwaet Home. We also donated sponsored sports equipment, instant noodles, milk, and other food stuff to the institution.

- Delivered diapers to a hospital in Uttaradit Province.

- Delivered sponsored fresh vegetables to Bahn Poomwaet on 3 different occasions.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM THE MONTH OF MARCH

- A team of volunteers took a trip to Chiang Mai to organize a program to encourage the patients and staff at Suan Dok Hospital.

- This month our English with Meaning students joined us in organizing a fun activity for the troubled boys at Bahn Pakret.

- On 5 different occassions this month, we gave the orphaned boys at Bahn Tungmahamaek English tutoring.

- English lessons at Kasetsart University continue to be well-attended. (English with Meaning Project)

- Delivered a variety of sponsored fresh fruit to the boys at Bahn Pakret and Bahn Poomwaet this month.

- We delivered donated toothpaste and adult diapers to the patients at the National Cancer Institute and at the Police Hospital.

- We recieved over 20,000 tubes of toothpaste for distribution and with the help of some soldiers from the Royal Thai Army, packed them into boxes which we then delivered to 6 different institutions.

- A school in Uttaradit Province recieved a truck-load of sponsored sports equipment, toothpaste, instant noodles, milk, and other food stuffs.
