Reading logs are due Monday, Nov. 16th. Please make sure that your child’s first and last name appears on the log! This log will be due after break. You may turn the reading log in on Friday if you would like!

(TAG) Creativity Enrichment: Hidden picture: Draw a corn stalk and disguise it in a picture. Write 3-5 strong sentences telling how you disguised the corn stalk.

Book Clubs: Please check your child’s book bag for book club homework. It varies per book club.

This week in: Word Study: we will study words that have r controlled vowels. Mentor Sentence – This week we will be focusing on a “hook” or grabber lead for our fictional narrative stories. Language Arts Skills- irregular plural nounsReading Workshop- we will begin our unit of study on main idea and details. Writing Workshop- we will work on writing fictional narrative stories. Math Workshop- continue work on adding and subtracting three digit numbers with regrouping using different strategies. We will also start adding and subtracting money through problem solving. Social Studies-continuing work on Georgia’s Five Regions; locating them on a map and knowing at least 3 features of each region. We will continue our unit of study on Creek and Cherokee Indians with Mrs. Adams.
