He carried that interest into his Doctor of Ministry with Fuller Seminary. He is the author of Movements that Change the World and What Jesus Started. Aer a short visit with a friend in Singapore, I’ll aend a conference and training in

Please PRAY for me, LAOS and my family back home.

Laos info: Laos is one of the least reached naons and a country that is

closed to the gospel. Approx. 60-70% of the populaon is Theravada Buddhists, with

the remaining largely following Animism (spirit worship). Less than 2% are Chrisans.

I’ll join a team involved in ministering to travellers, connecng with locals and be

challenged to pray and grow in my faith.

Kids Hope - Ballarat Special School “Cooking Up A Storm”

Hannah and I made mini doughnuts yesterday for the class which was a fun activity. I’m endeavouring to teach her to try a few recipes and add them to a recipe book

she’s begun. She has decorated the book, added a couple of recipes we’ve tried and then shared the spoils with the class. So far we have made Easter chocolates and doughnuts and I’m slowly going to intro-duce her to the little healthy foods she may try at home. The reason for this be-gan when we shared a lunch time and I found that all she had for her lunch was dry biscuits still in the pack they came in. We eagerly shared my grapes. Her mother had been ill and she had put together her own lunch. One child, one hour, one church, one school. If you or anyone you know would

like to know more about becoming a mentor, please contact the church office on 5334 1882.

Do you love making craft items for children? Our Operation Christmas Child Market Day will be held again this year in August. If you love making children’s clothes, bags of all sizes, summer hats or toys then this is the perfect outlet! In fact anything for children who mostly live in hot climates. Start crafting and we look forward to a great supply by August. Please contact the church office on 5334 1882.
