DESIGN FOR CHANGE

We observed the use of black plastic polythene ( recycled plastic) more in our town. We wanted the change in that area.

We all sat together and tried to find out the solution. We took snaps of cows eating garbage from the plastic bag, the cow was also eating the part of polythene.

We worship cow and also call her Goumata ( cow mother) , so when we showed the photos of cow eating garbage along with the polythene , the shopkeeper got emotional and disturbed. When we explained to him about the other disadvantages of using plastic he promised to stop using the plastic bag and will encourage the use of cloth or environment friendly bags only.

Then with the help of that shop keeper we convinced the other merchants to stop using the plastic bag. We will continue our efforts to save the environment and one day we will make our town polythene-free!
