• Partnership between the ACR, IRA and PANLAR to:

• promote the international exchange of clinical and research skills, expertise and knowledge between rheumatologists

• recognize outstanding rheumatology trainees in clinical or bench research

• provide exposure to the work being done by colleagues overseas


• To support scientific collaboration between members of the ACR, and junior rheumatologists representing IRA and PANLAR, 2016 award recipients received:

• four weeks of mentoring from ACR hosts

• observation and shadowing of senior rheumatologists at major US medical centers

• complimentary registration and housing for the ACR’s 2016 annual meeting

• a stipend for travel and lodging

ACR Online Education• Enduring: Improving Patient Outcomes in Rheumatoid Arthritis

• A free activity featuring engaging discussion of RA disease activity measurement, treating to target strategy, pathophysiology of RA in relation to conventional and emerging therapies, and ACR’s Rheumatology Informatics System for Effectiveness (RISE) rapid-cycle registry reports.
