• Less anxious, less dogmatic, less suspicious of others, less apt to use sensitizing modes of defenses.
• More trusting, more self- confident and insightful.
• Internality has been found to be positively associated with indices of social adjustment and personal adjustment.
CHARACTERISTICS OF INTERNALS
POPCORNED BY DEY DOS
CHARACTERISTICS OF INTERNALS Locus of control also indicates an individual’s perception of authority figures.
• Internals perceive authority as more encouraging of constructive environmental manipulation, as more supportive when difficulty is encountered, as more positively reinforcing, as having more predictable standards, and as acting more on and from issue- oriented reason.
• The fact that internals perceive authority figures this way tends to affect positively their behavior as leaders.

CHARACTERISTICS OF INTERNALS
• Internals tend to resort to more self-blaming behavior than do externals. Because internals perceive outcomes as being the result of their actions, they assume complete responsibility that leads to blame.
• Because of this, the extremely internalized person may be self- flagellating.
