CNM-YBJ Consulting Engineers carried out the assessment and functional classification of Zimbabwe Roads Network as part of the road reform program, which established the Zimbabwe National Roads Authority (ZINARA).

CNM-YBJ Consulting Engineers has also worked on airport projects includingthe New Harare International Airport. It carried out the evaluation ofpavements, drainage and building services. In a joint venture with X-Y Base ofMalaysia it carried out the Operational Readiness Audit for reclassificationto IATA runway category AE and level of service Category B for the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe at Harare International Airport.

competitive Bidding Documentation and construction supervision of a 4.0Ml Biological Nutrient

Removal Sewage Plant in Harare.

This project comprised design and construction of 3000 low cost housing units for the Central Africa Building Society (CABS) /Old Mutual Property (OMP) and the City of Harare in Harare, Zimbabwe. The project covers 112 hectares of land located in Budiriro Township. CNM-YBJ/CGM JV provided the professional services; i.e. the design and construction administration for the works consisting of:

• Roads and storm water drainage • Water reticulation • Sewage reticulation • Electrical reticulation • Architectural & structural design • House construction

A total of 12 contractors were engaged under separate contacts to construct different aspects of the project from servicing the plots to construction of the houses for a total value of $70.2 Million. CABS provided mortgage finance for houses at an average price of $27,000 per unit.

This ongoing project comprises the design and construction of infrastructure for 1135 units for the Commercial Bank of Zimbabwe (CBZ) in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. The project covers a total of 37.6 hectares of land located in Chinotimba Buffer, Mkhosana Buffer, and Mkhosana High Density Townships in Victoria Falls Town. CNM-YBJ provided the following professional services: i.e. design and construction administration for the works consisting of:

One contractor was engaged to construct the above work for a total value of $5.2 Million. The project is ongoing and details of the selling price for the stands is not yet available.

CLIPSHAM HOUSING PROJECT Masvingo, Zimbabwe


This ongoing project comprises the Project Management and construction supervision of infrastructure for 772 units for the Infrastructure Development Bank of Zimbabwe (IDBZ) in Masvingo, Zimbabwe. The project covers a total of 205.7 hectares of land located in Masvingo. Construction work on this project started in December, 2015. Since July 2016 Promanint International/CNM-YBJ JV took over responsibility for the Project Management and construction supervision of:

One contractor was engaged to construct the above work for a total value of $3.65 Million. The serviced 1,390-2,500 square meter plots will be sold for $13 per square 13metre.
