Energy and water benchmarking is performed using the Energy Star Portfolio Management methodology for all modules in the new Online Portal (includes the MURB and Health Care surveys)

2 options for data entry: 1. Users enter data directly into the BOMA BEST Online Portal 2. Users link an existing Energy Star Portfolio Management

account with their BOMA BEST account. All data is shared between the two portals (no double entry).

V2-3.0 Transition Plan

• Applicants whose certifications are expiring before September 30th, 2017

are welcome to purchase a 1 year extension of their certification for 1/3 of

the total certification cost.

• This will allow applicants to take the time to become fully comfortable

with the new 3.0 standard.
