The first section of the Booking Request asks you to choose a carrier

Contract/Quote/Tariff number, PO number, and Customer Reference numbers can be input to:

Better manage shipments

Enhance container tracking

Perform detailed booking searches on any of the fields

Additional Reference Numbers

all additional references can be used as search criteria when checking an individual booking or container status

any reference can be removed by checking the box next to the label and clicking Remove ReferenceRemove Reference

A very popular feature of INTTRA booking, and one that adds great value to the

tracking and reporting functions, is the Additional Reference Numbers option.

Don’t forget to click Add Reference before clicking Done to add

the reference numbers

Cargo Information Enter the Cargo Description and Weight

• NOTE: Only one cargo description per booking

Hazardous Materials if the cargo requires HazMat

descriptions, click the Hazmat link select from either the IMO

class (*) drop down box OR enter the IMO Class/Division code directly - one or the other is required, but not both

UN Number (*) is also required multiple IMO line items per

shipment may be entered if needed

container.

If a Reefer is selected as

the equipment Type/Size, you must add a temperature setting.

Reefer settings will be the same for all equipment in a single booking. Additional comments concerning Reefer settings, including pre-cooling and atmosphere control, should be input in the comments field.

Routing Information

Choose a move type from a drop-down list receipt and delivery fields must be completed for all moves

Click the Search Schedules link.

Utilizing the Schedules is not mandatory. If you do not select a specific vessel/voyage for your Booking Request, the ETD or ETA

field must be filled in.

Booking Parties shipper or freight forwarder details are required for a

booking request to be submitted choose your role(s) by selecting a box in the column labeled

My Role if you are the booking party and want

your partner(s) to view this booking, click Search and select that company

• this will automatically fill in the company name and place a check mark in the box labeled ‘INTTRA Member’

You must select an INTTRA Registered company from your partner list to provide visibility to this booking

• Company names that are manually input will not be granted visibility

Note: To add additional customers to your partner list, contact your local INTTRA Customer Service representative

You will have the following notification options for each booking:

Email Notification - receive email notifications when the carrier confirms or updates the Booking request

Partner Notification - send email notifications for confirmations and updates to up to six recipients that you define

CSI1 Notification - alert the person responsible for your documentation that Shipping Instructions are due for this booking

• notifications are sent daily -- they start 30 days prior to the vessel sail date
