After you’ve signed up, Photobucket will take you to your home page.

There, you can look at your photos, your friends photos, or other random Bucketer’s photos.

You can also Upload your CC-licensed, public domain, or personal photos for editing and

The Upload feature is a piece of cake

You can drag the photos from your My Computer file, add from Facebook,

or browse them in a traditional way. Then,

choose to upload to your library or a separate

folder, click upload, and make it happen!

When you get the Success message

*You will need Adobe Flash to do the fancy editing stuff.

Your picture will appear with 2 sets of options

The top options are where you will save your work as you go along. It is also where you can zoom in and out, undo and redo, and go Fullscreen which will make your life easier.

Each button will pop out other choices. We’ll go over some of the more helpful ones, but you should try them all! Remember to select “Apply” after making changes you want to

keep.

Special thanks to Miss Erica for the unretouched photo! (And to Roald Dahl for The Witches!)

The bottom set of options is where the real editing happens.

The Adjustment panel has valuable retouch options. Use Red Eye, Airbrush, Touch Up, Crop, and Contrast to fix errors in photos.

Page 10: Introduction to Photobucket

Most features have a level to adjust for more precise editing. Play with the levels to get it right.

Use the Zoom features in the top right corner to make up-close edits.

But with just a few retouches, you can take some of the camera flaws out. Yay!

Now we can have fun with some of the effects!

The effects are grouped into sets, so you’ll want to pick on that looks like it will add something fun to your photo…

… Then cycle through the options (named after the people who created these filters) using the Shuffle button until you find something you like. The Amount slider will let you decide how much impact you want the effect to have on the photo. Remember to apply!

Play with the Overlay effects to get antique and psychedelic effects, and add a message

to the photo with the Text option!

When you have finished touching up your photo, you can save this new one as a copy (so that you can still use the old photos), or you can replace the old one. Just be sure to save it!
