From 3 December 2015 to 31 January 2016, the Autoworld museum will devote its fourth major year-end exhibition to the ‘bella macchina italiana’ from the legendary ‘50s to today in a typical Italian atmo-sphere. The 1950’s incontestably mark the golden age of the Italian automobile. Manufacturers like Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Fiat, etc. vied in ingenuity to give their engines greater performance.
The ‘made in Italy’ car still fascinates. It has become synonymous not only with passion, elegance, and la dolce vita, but also with the extreme and a lust for life. In a setting recreating the unique ambiance of an Italian city, visitors will be able to have a close look at fifty of the most iconic cars produced in Italy at the time, starting with one of the rare 1952 Disco Volante, and the most recent, which has just been produced by Touring Superleggera. Of course today’s exotic Italian supercars such as the Lamborghini Veneno and the LaFerrari will be present as well !
