Textiles with the marking of AIR FLOW from iXS makes you faster. Clothing, which increases speed? No joke! Aerodynamics is all-important on the racing bicycle. Geared to the spirited rider, this clothing offers the wearer a perfect fit and best functional performance. The T-shirts fit as though tailored to the body. Nothing flutters, nothing impedes (causes drag). Aerodynamic clothing makes you faster by minutes. This is a good thing, because on the racing bicycle every additional kilometer per hour increases the enjoyment.

Ganz auf das temperamentvolle Fahren abgestimmt, bietet diese Bekleidung seinem Träger optimale Passform und beste funktionelle Performance. Die Shirts sitzen wie auf den Leib geschneidert. Nichts flattert, nichts bremst. Aerodynamische Bekleidung macht um Minuten schneller. Gut so, denn auf dem Rennrad macht jeder zusätzliche Stundenkilometer noch mehr Spass.

Our collaboration with Eschler also extends to promoting the environmental protection. All the fabrics used are environmentally sustainable. In order to guarantee permanent protection against bacterial infections, our final products are bioactive thanks to the incorporation of silver ions in yarn threads. Bacteria produce waste products which are responsible for perspiration odour in textiles. The growth of bacteria is under control. Result: the perspiration odour is reduced.

Unsere Zusammenarbeit mit Eschler erstreckt sich auch auf die Förderung des Umweltschutzes. Sämtliche Stoffe, die wir verwenden, sind dauerhaft umweltgerecht. Um einen permanenten Schutz gegen bakterielle Infektionen zu gewährleisten, sind unsere Endprodukte dank in das Gewebe eingearbeiteter Silberpartikel bioaktiv. Bakterien produzieren Abfallprodukte, die für die Entstehung von Schweissgeruch in Textilien verantwortlich sind. Das Bakterienwachstum ist unter Kontrolle. Das Ergebnis – ein verminderter Schweissgeruch.

Notre collaboration avec Escher contribue également à promouvoir la protection de l’environnement. Tous les tissus employés sont respectueux de l’environnement. Grâce à l’incorporation d’ions argent dans les fils, nos produits finis deviennent bioactifs garantissant ainsi une protection constante contre les infections bactériennes. Les bactéries produisent des résidus qui sont responsables de l’odeur de transpiration sur les tissus. Le développement de ces bactéries est ainsi sous contrôle, ce qui a pour effet de réduire l’odeur de transpiration.

La nostra collaborazione con Eschler si estende anche alla promozione della difesa dell’ambiente. Tutti i tessuti usati sono ecologicamente sostenibili. Per garantire una protezione permanente contro le infezioni batteriche, i nostri prodotti finiti sono bioattivi grazie agli ioni d’argento incorporati nel filato. I batteri producono materiali di rifiuto responsabili dell’odore di traspirazione nei tessuti. La crescita batterica è sotto controllo. Risultato: l’odore di traspirazione è ridotto.

Quand on transpire, c’est la preuve que l’on s’est dépensé sur une selle de vélo et non sur une chaise de bureau. Qui dit transpiration, dit mauvaise odeur, sauf avec les vêtements iXS. 10.00Spirado 10.00 is an extremely high quality functional yarn made of special polyester. The hydrophobic properties of this synthetic fibre have been improved so that Spirado products absorb moisture and give it off quickly again on the outside. Spirado textiles dry much faster than conventional textiles. The material offers you a pleasantly cool, dry feeling during wear, – even during extreme physical exertion. The fibres are pleasantly soft to the touch, kind to the skin and have an antibacterial effect. The material is extremely hard-wearing and requires little care.

Spirado 10.00 ist ein höchstwertiges Funktionsgarn aus speziellem Polyester. Bei dieser Kunstfaser wurden die hydrophoben Eigenschaften des Polyesters so verbessert, dass Produkte aus Spirado die Feuchtigkeit aufnehmen und diese beschleunigt wieder nach aussen abgeben. Les propriétés hydrophobes du polyester de cette fibre synthétique ont été améliorées de sorte que les produits à base de Spirado absorbent l’humidité puis la rejettent vers l’extérieur de manière accélérée. Les textiles à base de Spirado sèchent nettement plus rapidement que les textiles classiques. Ils confèrent une sensation de frais et de sec, même lorsque que le corps est hautement sollicité. 10.nanoSpirado 10.00 with an additional nano silver treatment. Through a special process, the silver is bound so firmly to the finished textile that it is still bonded to the fabric even after many washes (150 times at 40°C). The overall silver content of a textile is approx. 20%. In addition to its properties of reducing and dispersing odours, nano silver also prevents the growth of germs, bacteria and mites, and keeps the skin dry and fresh. Nano silver is also environment-friendly, highly suitable for allergy sufferers and helps in cases of eczema. It has no adverse effect on other textile properties.

Das Silber wird im fertigen Textil durch ein spezielles Verfahren so fest verankert, dass es auch nach mehrmaligen Waschen (150 mal bei 40°C ) mit dem Textil verbunden bleibt. The upper mounting point is adjustable, allowing for a flexible vertical position of the X-Switch ratchet system which eases the fine-tuning of the X-Switch’s position on the back of the head.

OVER 100 YEARS OF HISTORYWhat began in 1906 with a repair shop for bicycles and motorcycles has now become a diversi Hostettler AG. A decisive step in the groups development was taken in 1968, when Hostettler was appointed general importer of Yamaha motorcycles for Switzerland. Hostettler Autotechnik AG. was founded in 1972, fol-lowed by Intercycle in 1979. The iXS Motorcycle Fashion brand of motorcycle apparel was introduced in 1979, while Hostettler Motoren AG was established in 1987. The three youngest additions to the Hostettler group are Hostettler GMBH, which was founded in Germany in 1991, Cosmosport which was established in 1998, following by iXS Sports Division in 2001.

Was 1906 mit einer Zweiradwerkstätte begann, hat sich bis heute zum vielseitigen Unternehmen mit sieben Firmen entwickelt. Mit der Gründung der hostett-ler ag wurde 1957 der Grundstein zur heutigen Geschäftsform gelegt. Ein entscheidender Schritt bedeutete die Übernahme des Generalimports von Yamaha-Motorrädern im Jahre 1968. 1972 wurde die hostettler autotechnik ag gegründet, 1979 folgte intercycle, 1979 die Motorrad-Bekleidungsmarke iXS Motorcyc-le Fashion und 1987 die hostettler motoren ag. Dann 1991 eröffnete die hostettler gmbh in Deutschland und die 1998 gegründete Firma cosmosport, gefolgt von iXS Sports Division im 2001.

La hostettler gmbh créée en 1991 et la société cosmosport fondée en 1998 sont les deux plus jeunes entreprises hostettler.
