• Up to $100,000 available to each STIC per year

• Fund activities which will have a statewide impact on making an innovation a standard practice

• Example activities include: developing standards and specifications, preparing SOPs or technical guidance, developing/delivering training, etc.

STIC Incentive Program

• Incentive is an increase of federal share on a project by up to 5%

SHRP2 Implementation Assistance Program (IAP)

In partnership with AASHTO

The Implementation Assistance Program is available to help State DOTs, MPOs, and other interested organizations deploy SHRP2 Solutions.

A range of opportunities is available to raise awareness of SHRP2 Solutions and to encourage early adoption of these products.

Application periods are offered approximately twice per year.

Each product selected for implementation assistance has the potential to deliver more efficient, cost-effective programs to meet the complex challenges facing transportation today.

Participation Levels

Proof of Concept Pilot Opportunity to help evaluate the readiness of a particular product.

Lead Adopter Incentive Available to help offset costs associated with product

implementation and risk mitigation.

User Incentive Available to accomplish a variety of implementation activities.

Examples include conducting internal assessments, executing system process changes, and organizing peer exchanges.

SHRP2 IAP How to apply? Applications are submitted through SHRP2 IAP website.

Each application requires a leadership endorsement from the Chief Executive Officer (or designee) of an organization or agency.

A letter of leadership endorsement must be attached to each application.

Each application requires a priority ranking.

An agency must rank applications in one grouping including all product submissions.
