LAST TIME OUT- The Dukes could not slow down Maryland’s hot bats, as the Terps handed JMU a 6-1 loss on April 25. - Senior Zach Tondi went 2-for-4, his ninth two-hit performance of the season along with a run scored. - Freshman Michael Bechtold (1-1) suffered the loss in the game after delivering three inning, giving up two runs on four hits.

JMU GRABS LAST GAME OF SERIES - James Madison took game three against Delaware on April 22, winning 6-0, marking its first shut out since April 26, 2017. - Freshman Nick Stewart tossd six innings with nine strikeouts and only allowed two hits in 22 batters faced. - Freshman Nick Robertson earned his third save, throwing three innings with three strikeouts.

DUKES FALL TO GEORGE MASON- James Madison dropped a 7-1 decision to George Mason on Wednes-day at Eagle Field, snapping a five-game winning streak. - Freshman Josh Jones racked up the sole RBI in a 2-for-4 perfor-mance at the plate. Sophomore Fox Semones added a 2-for-4 outing with a run scored.- Junior Garrett Richards suffered the loss on the mound, moving to 0-1 on the season after tossing 2 1/3 innings with giving up two runs on five hits.

JMU DEFEATS LONGWOOD, 10-5- On Tuesday, James Madison extended its win streak to five games after a 10-5 victory over Longwood in Farmville, Va. - Senior Adam Sisk went 2-for-3 with a walk and four RBIs while senior Brad McKay added a 2-for-4 performance with two doubles, two runs scored, three RBIs and a walk.

JMU SWEEPS WILLIAM & MARY- This past weekend, JMU swept in-state conference foe William & Mary, winning games one and two, 15-3 and 5-4, respectively. The Dukes capped off the sweep with a walk-off 4-3 win on Sunday. - Over the series, JMU hit five home runs including freshman Josh Jones hitting his first career home trun in game one. - In game three, senior Brad McKay hit the walk-off single to left field to secure the win and sweep for the Dukes.

DUKES EDGE GEORGE MASON, 2-1- A two-run six inning propelled James Madison over George Mason 2-1 at Spuhler Field on April 11.- Senior Ryan Coale and sophomore Fox Semones accounted for both of JMU’s hits as Coale broke up the no hitter in the seventh inning off a bunt single and Semones added a double in the seventh.

DUKES FALL IN EXTRAS TO MARYLAND- Maryland scored a run ion the top half of the ninth to send the game into extra innings before handing James Madison a tough 2-1 loss on April 10 at Eagle Field. - Freshman Josh Jones led the way at the plate for JMU, as he turned in a 3-for-5 performance, his third three-hit game of the season.

DUKES DROP SERIES AT CHARLESTON- JMU fell in all three games to College of Charleston this past week-end. Falling, 6-4 in game one, 2-1 and 3-2 in games two and three. - In game two, sophomore Kevin Kelly tossed a career-high 7.2 innings with six strikeouts giving up two runs (one earned) on six hits.- In game three, freshman Nick Stewart threw a season-high 7.1 innings with nine k’s, giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits.
